Solely, my opinion, I would never assume anything but positive things about this fine company ORFG.

1. Modern day P&D's are almost always a Chinese company that did a reverse merger. There have been a truck load of these lately and the SEC has done nothing about them. They have all imploded, been delisted, etc etc.

http://www.zerohedge.com/article/mos...anagements-all

http://www.businessinsider.com/inter...ncrease-2011-4

http://www.fool.com/investing/intern...d-to-know.aspx

2. Historically, most P&D's choose a "hot sector". Gold, and commodities in general, are hot right now. "Green Energy" is also a hot pick for P&D. In the late 90's it was tech stocks.

3. Historically, P&D's have their "finds"/"technology" outside the USA. Can you say "BRE-X"?

Totally unrelated to the above, lets review ORFG:

- Its headquarters are listed in China

Headquarters: 93-B342 Xinliu Street,
Zhongshan District
116001 Dalian
CHN

- It recently had a reverse merger

- It is investing in Gold

- They are mining in Colombia

With all of the above considered I would have to put a strong BUY on this company... Cramer: "BUY BUY BUY"

jay, are you still holding aapl?

famous 04-29-2011 01:34 PM

The issue with this stock is its a pump and dump. What will get you is the low low volume. Average daily trade is 300k shares. It is at a high right now with 2million trades aday. The problem lies when you go to dump it. The share price will typically fall faster then what you can sell when you sell large #s of shares being it has so few shares being actually traded.

Anything coming out of China right now is a joke. My bets is this character is paid to promote this stock...I see this everyday and short garbage like this provided there are shares. What I find interesting is that he has elected to post here on an adult web masters forum

I think you mean't nine hundreths. 9/10 = .90

No, I meant what I said: nine tenths of a cent = $0.009, or slightly less than one cent. I was pointing out that his claim that it had climbed ".90cents" was technically accurate, but misleading in that it might be read as having gone up 90 cents or $0.90, which would have been an all time high for this stock. Nine hundredths of a cent would be $0.0009 though that might have been closer to the truth.

On a side note, I think you meant "meant" and "hundredths".

thepiper 04-30-2011 09:14 AM

Game plan for screwing you:

Issue 100 millions shares at 3/4 of 1 cent (0.0075) - done

Hire a promoter to get volume in the stock - done

Wait till rule 144a lockup expires on shares (june) - 6 weeks (coincidence?)

Unload shares. - pending

As long as the price stays above 1 cent they make money and you loose.

They could sell shares at 2 cents each and still be making a 3x on their money.

Things must be pretty bad if xxxjay is a paid penny promoter now.

busta21 04-30-2011 09:50 PM

Your going to see a record number of IPO's the next few years, the SEC is too dam lazy and the banks have too much cash, this is the age of M&A and IPO. Make all of your companies into one holding group, hire a great CPA, IPO then get out.

Not saying xxxjay is a promoter, just that there clearly is *a* promoter working the stock. Responsible for the abnormal extreme increase in volume.

btw good promoters clean up. things are definitely not financially bad for them assuming they can sleep at night.

kaori 05-01-2011 12:28 PM

Oh, but Dr. Hans Bocker is now chair! Apparently he wrote a book you can't find anywhere...

I love it... A vehicle detailing company from Northern Alberta turning in to a Gold acquisition and exploration company based out of China with 2 employees and a net profit margin of -70,000%.
Short it if you can...

ORFG

Well Jay, when you recommended ORFG.PK, the stock was trading at $0.38. (4-25-11)

In the 6 weeks since, it's gone straight down. Hope you were able to cash out higher than you bought :)

Current price of the stock is $0.14. (6-1-11)

Pump & dump wiki : "Pump and dump" is a form of microcap stock fraud that involves artificially inflating the price of an owned stock through false and misleading positive statements, in order to sell the cheaply purchased stock at a higher price. Once the operators of the scheme "dump" their overvalued shares, the price falls and investors lose their money. Stocks that are the subject of pump-and-dump schemes are sometimes called "chop stocks".

In a nutshell: if you bought ORFG before it's very impressive rise in price at, say, 0.12, and sold just before the stock fell off a cliff at, say, 0.31, you would've multiplied your investment by over 2.5 times.

If you bought this stock around the time this thread was started and are still holding it, you've lost well over 50% of your original investment.

Here's the best investing advice you'll ever get: Buy Low, Sell High.

You're welcome.
