I was addicted to Black Ops but not anymore, don't really play it that much now. Only play a lot when new maps come out.

I wish I had time anymore, between work, baby and trying to lose the baby weight, I get about 30 minutes of me time and that is better spent doing other things... However back in the day, HALO was my drug of choice and still is.

Fifa 11 & Black Ops mostly

I still find time to play. Last night I was up til 2 am playing the new LA Noir from Rockstar. Haven't gotten too deep into it yet, but its pretty good so far.

Still managed to get up at 630am this morning with three munchkins in tow. At which pointg both my phone and Nook are taken while a 2 and 3 year old get their Angry Birds fix.

Still Modern Warfare 2

I did. My toddlers are Angry Birds addicts. They can play it on my smartphone and tablet. And the oldest can use a mouse or touchpad to play it on my laptop or desktop.

They like Angry Birds RIO, and call the actual movie the Angry Birds movie.

I like FPS and driving games.

Right now I'm burnt out on BLOPs but I'm having a lot of fun with Test Drive Unlimited 2 and Portal 2.

I built a racing rig complete with steering wheel, stand, seat and butt Kicker so I'm up for any good driving game.
TDU 2 Keeps me busy but I'm really looking forward to DIRT 3 coming next week. With Gears 3, Forza 4 and MW 3
all coming this fall its a really good time to be a gamer :)

I've been playing Motorstorm Apocalypse, waiting for Red Faction Armageddon.

Another one I've been chipping away at is Amnesia: The Dark Descent. It's an indie horror game. The developers recommend playing at night, with the lights out, wearing headphones, and that's what I've been doing. I've never experienced anything so unnerving and tense. You're just walking around this dark castle, trying to make your way deeper to find out who you are, and why you're there.

The atmosphere is great, and nothing happens for the first 2 hours. When you finally encounter a monster, there's no way to defend yourself, so you have to get clever with blocking doors, and hiding in dark places. It's some scary shit. I feel like a little bitch when I'm playing...it's really something to be experienced if you like horror.

I know its just a game, but its like a good movie that sucks you in and fucks with your mind.

It does take away a bit of the fun when there are very few 'epic' dungeon drops... I mean there are a few things, but overall 90% of the best gears in the game come from AP, and that seems to work very well for Aeria Games. There's currently a 'tiered spender promo' where you get a particular set of equips if you spend 50 dollars, and I guarantee that in a few days the in-game market will be full of people hawking that set, so Aeria will have made thousands just off that one promotion. Considering that they do constant promos, all in all they're probably making far more than they would on a subscription model.

man there was nothing like having a char based on agility and str back in old days and having epic dungeon wep drop in old MMO dungeon crawl and it had +50 agility +50 str, this made weps only valuable to certain classes as the drops could contain ANY combination of toon attributes... if it dropped and had +50 mana it was only good for a mage, so it made things far more exciting and items became worth in game GOLD which kept community alive, things have changed so much since old Ultima days.... the old days before micro transactions and selling in game items hehehe you had to chat to others in game and trade! thats what an MMO is about

As an old school Ultima Online player myself (96-2000, Baja and Great Lakes), don't even bother with any of todays "MMOs". They are all so dry and you will only be pissed off chasing that Ultima Online feeling ;]

There will never be a game like UO, and its impossible to describe what made the game so damn awesome to anyone that never played.

There is a free UO server I recently found out about, www.inporylem.com. Surprisingly a fairly large playerbase (2k+) clients. Its amazing what you remember about the game even after 10 years. I still remembered damn near the entire map, Brit Xroads what!

Seige Perilous for the win, yes, people of todays MMOs often have no idea how influential UO was.

Brit Xroads, damn!!!! yeah its been awhile, I will check it out. UO started my PVP only love of gameplay, i hate mobiles i only enjoy killing other players, back when being "red" was something to be proud of.

WOW is so carebear, i wish in WOW you could take the items off the players you kill, UO was awesome for that!!!

Yeah, full loot is the only way to go. Unfortunately the masses do not agree, and would rather have character death mean absolutely nothing. We will probably never see a big MMO with full loot these days, as everyone has become addicted to their gold yellow blue whatever fucking color items they have in today's games. I haven't been able to play one of these new MMOs for longer then 2 weeks. Rift broke a record for me, I logged a total of about 1.5 hours.

I don't know why someone hasn't came and made a UO clone. Open world pvp, guild wars, no instanced bullshit, full loot, player driven economy, crafting, player ran stores etc etc!

Heroes Of Newerth can't get enough of it...

yes, I LOOOVE full loot. There is nothing cooler than standing over the corpse of your enemy and looting the items he is wearing! I am a PK by heart, as said, I got tired of killing mobiles long ago and only crave killing other players. Its the only challenge once you grow out of "beating games" of our youth.

Even in old NES they limited "continues" so deaths were not meaningless, but yes now, die >resurrect at grave and run back to body. I remember being PKed and running back to my corpse for first time and seeing all my loot gone (i was dumb had all my gold on me etc) from that day on I swore only to kill players!!! hahahah
