You guys are trying to draw a parallel between Israel and Palestine and the US and Native Americans?

The Palestinians aren't saying we need all the land back, but we are saying either let us live with you, like human beings with equal rights, or give us our own country.

Where is the Native American open air prison in the US? What groups of Native Americans does the government not allow to have chocolate? Show me the last time a Native American was searched just for being a Native American.

That's what I thought. There are similarities but the differences are vast. The Palestinian people want nothing more than equality with the Jewish people living in Israel. I want to be able to return to my Grandma's old house in Palestine, the one she left, locked up, and kept the key thinking she'd be back soon.

But I can't because Israel won't allow it.

Please tell me of all the Native Americans that are living abroad that aren't allowed to return to their home land.

An Apache living on a reservation is living there by choice, not by force. Palestinians can't just leave Gaza and walk into Israel.

at one time, in both canada and US they were not allowed off the reserves. of course its not like that now but they have a pretty brutal past and still get treated like shit today.

The policy was controversial from the start. Reservations were generally established by executive order. In many cases, white settlers objected to the size of land parcels, which were subsequently reduced. A report submitted to Congress in 1868 found widespread corruption among the federal Native American agencies and generally poor conditions among the relocated tribes.
Many tribes ignored the relocation orders at first and were forced onto their new limited land parcels. Enforcement of the policy required the United States Army to restrict the movements of various tribes. The pursuit of tribes in order to force them back onto reservations led to a number of Native American massacres and some war. The most well known conflict was the Sioux War on the northern Great Plains, between 1876 and 1881, which included the Battle of Little Bighorn. Other famous wars in this regard included the Nez Perce War.
By the late 1870s, the policy established by President Grant was regarded as a failure, primarily because it had resulted in some of the bloodiest wars between Native Americans and the United States. By 1877, President Rutherford B. Hayes began phasing out the policy, and by 1882 all religious organizations had relinquished their authority to the federal Indian agency.

Most Indian reservations, like the Laguna Indian reservation in New Mexico (pictured 1943), are in the western United States, often in arid regions unsuitable for agriculture.
In 1887, Congress undertook a significant change in reservation policy by the passage of the Dawes Act, or General Allotment (Severalty) Act. The act ended the general policy of granting land parcels to tribes as-a-whole by granting small parcels of land to individual tribe members. In some cases, for example the Umatilla Indian Reservation, after the individual parcels were granted out of reservation land, the reservation area was reduced by giving the excess land to white settlers. The individual allotment policy continued until 1934, when it was terminated by the Indian Reorganization Act.

Uhmm Actually yes Israel was put there by choice. It is the true home area of the Jewish people. Thats where they supposedly went after Moses parted the sea. After the Ancient Sand men made slaves of them and kicked there ass in Egypt they got booted. They moved to where Israel is now which was at the time more or less just a thieves and criminals outland that did not matter for shit or nothing. The area is still a matter of shit or nothing.
