Banned, EH??? are you really that senile? You lied and said I didnt own a petshop at 16 and left school at 14. I did own Castle pets & left school at 16. You also said that the only Castle Pets was in BRIGG, stating I lied, yet have proved that there was a castle pets in Bedford, of which I owned. You also state anyone can own a switch card at 16, which is untrue. I owned one at 16, and therefore you should be asking, why am I so lucky & you are left looking like a twat.... Answer, its because you're ignorant... you shall have to change your way, you shall never find happiness :2 cents: |

ring the bank, say youre 16 and that you want a switch card... you wont get one unless you are over 18!.... I owned my shop at 16, a company director of Castle pets. I do not have to prove crap. You should be ashamed of yourself, acting like a spoilt ignorant twat, not believing it. My name was on the cheque book. |

"You must be at least 18 years old to enter into a valid contract; minors cannot. So you cannot get a bank account or debit card or credit card in your own name. Therefore, even if you are now earning your own money from an after-school/summer job, you will need to go to the bank with your parents to open a checking account and then get a debit card. Both you and yor parents must bring two proofs of identity, Social Security numbers, etc. acceptable to the bank." A statement on a find like yours.... http://answers.yahoo.com/question/in...1064308AAlRU7e :thumbsup |

"Switch was launched in 1988 by Midland Bank, National Westminster Bank and the Royal Bank of Scotland as a multifunction cheque guarantee and cash card. The brand was merged with Maestro, an international debit card brand owned by MasterCard, in 2002. This merger has been referred to as the "penguin wedding," with distinctive advertisements of penguins in different international settings created by Joel Veitch. Since then, banks have been migrating customers from Switch to Maestro.[1]" http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Switch_%28debit_card%29 And yes, you can get a Maestro, the replacement of Switch at 16, just as you could get a Switch card at 16 as my links proved. Why are you harassing me continually lying and stalking me? Please stop. Quote:
You were not a company director of Castle Pets aged 16. Please stop lying and stop posting in every thread I start trying to fuck it up. It just makes you look like a mentalist. |

I promise you, any 16 year old can get a debit card. Proof: http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/....php?t=1141447 In fact, an 11 year old can: http://www.maestrocard.com/uk/solocard/faqs.html You make this so easy. You swear, call me names, libel me, lie and post incorrect opinion. I post proof you are talking shit. It makes me feel bad really. Like shooting a puppy in the face. You can't help being this stupid. But please, stop posting in every thread. It's just weird. |
I had a switch card when I was14.
They had only come out, and only a few shops took them. They are a replacment for check books. Thats why you can have them at any age. They are not credit cards. I had one with my school account. I think many kids have them these days. |
Quote:
They did allow people to go overdrawn as the system did not at the time take cash out at time of purchase. It could be several days later. So you could spend more than you had in your account. However that is not the same as credit. I belive the new debit cards take cash instantly from your account. So in theory you cannot spend more than you have. One presumes if you ran a shop you would know this far more than anyone. |

Damian, Divvy, liars.
Switch cards were cheque gaurentee cards which give anyone the ability to use credit. Its a debit card giving credit. 18 years old... Damian... no matter what you say, you sound like a very young idiot, believing nothing anyone says. Does it matter to me if I owned Castle pets or not.... I owned it, I ran it, I made profit from it. Are you seriously jealous of me to continue the way you do? |

in order to get a credit card one needs to be 18 and sign a contract. of course pre-pay credit cards are slightly different. but they do not gve credit. |
Gary I did own at 14 (or 15) a switch card.
they had just come out. yes your right they were a replacment for check books. they did not provide credit at all. as i stated in the early days the payment did not come out of your account direct. somtimes it took days, and in fact i remeber a payment taking weeks. so often people would spend more than they had. say on wed they may spend more than what was in the account as by friday there pay had gone into there account to cover the debit payments. it was a student trick. but these cards never gave credit. they were an electronic form of check book with the added bonus of also being a bank cash machine card. this was not credit. as i say if you realy did run a shop you would know this. you have stated i lied. i hope you will retract this. i did own a switch card under the age of 16. |
gary if you belive switch is a credit card, why not post a link to prove it.

It gave credit, you could spend what you wanted on a switch anytime, you was liable for it! It was a debit card, because it came straight from your bank, but you could go overdrawn! You had to be 18 or a gaurentaur was needed.... If you really had one, you would have know this :warning |

i had one at 18. no one guranteed it. it did not give you credit. do you not understand the difference between credit and simply a time gap of taking money out of your account. are you saying checks gave you credit as you can spend even if you do not have the funds? |

i am starting to think that gary is telling fibs about owning a shop, as surly he would have more idea about switch and other debit cards than anyone.
oh well. off out now. |

If you had one at 18, you would have also noticed you could go to the shop & spend £100 on it, even when your balance was zero... Its a dbit card that gives credit. End of! |
Quote:
All are not true. Whos the mentalist. I left school at 16, I have plenty of gcses of alevel standard & left school to pay lease, set up & run my own petshop. I also had a switch card at 16, yet only because of a garrentaur.. I state it to you that you waste time writing bullshit about me & my partner. |
Quote:
do you know what credit is? |
