I find it hard to understand all the interest in this domain.

It can be replaced with any similar generic phrase in the same line of thought.
Also considering the entertainment type of site it would work for it will most likely have a hard time to gain substanctial income over a longer period.

If it does gain a buzz for a while it'll be forgotten just as fast.

Exactly. I had a $500 offer on a domain name that I almost took once. Instead I held on to it for 3 years until the right buyer came along and ended up selling it for $10,000. Even after Sedo took their 20% cut I made $7,500 more than I would have made if I took the initial offer.
