Getting heckled wearing the opposing jersey in a passionate city during the Stanley Cup Finals is going to happen whether in Boston, Vancouver, or any other city outside of say Tampa Bay since their fan base is sleeping by 8:00pm. It's hardly newsworthy, but some bored writers ran with it to work up the fan base even more than they already were.

if the riot act wasn't read the maximum is 2yrs in jail but from what I understand the Riot Act was read that night although im not certain
