Really?

Whats not to believe?

Anyone can bench 90,000 pounds WHILE doing cardio at the same time. Nothing unusual there.

20 sets with 5 minutes between. that's 1 hour and 40 minutes (+ lift time) so ~2 hours to lift that 90,000 lbs.

plenty of time

Why not? It's a FIVE minute rest between sets. Plenty of time to recover. Do sets 30-45 seconds apart - now that's hard as fuck.

Rest? Recover? You called it an interval workout where you are doing cardio at the same time. 20 sets, 20 reps each. 90,000 pounds, as you are doing cardio at the same time.

You aren't going to teach me anything at all about lifting.

if dude is maxin @ 375, 225 is ~50% of max, not an expert here and while it sounds insane, i don't see why it couldn't happen?

am i missing something?

on the other hand, my current workout centers around doing either 40 reps of my 10 rep max or 20 reps of my 5 reps max and those last few sets are onesie reps, shit gets hard toward the end..

I was 300 pounds when I was doing this. Now I'm 240 and more into my push-up record of 800 in one day. But you don't lift if you don't believe me. It's not that hard. Do sets close together and a 45 pound bar seems like the Titanic.

Yeah... a world record for benching your own body weight for your weight class while doing cardio at the same time and that's your normal routine. Totally believable.

... oh, now is something you used to do.

I don't believe you, so it means I don't lift.

It was only 9 months ago. But when I was doing triathlons I did the half Ironman in 5 hours, 57 minutes and 16 seconds and weighed over 205 pounds because I was powerlifting at the time and benched 400 a week later.

I wasn't doing cardio at the same time - I was jogging slow and walking fast in between sets. It's really not that hard. You guys need to get off GFY and get back to the gym. I did awhile ago and it did me good. Peace out.

Of course, your bench routine is a world record bench routine for your weight class... and "its really not that hard". You've totally won me over with all your extraneous information and irrelevant facts.

I can max 300+...However, I STILL do not believe that you can do 225 for 20 times even ONCE.....Let's see the video.

cam_girls 06-18-2011 11:26 PM

I could balance a glass of water on my chest in my prime, and a full glass not tilted either.

One week 3 friends all asked if I was taking steroids! I went to the bathroom at the movies and the mirrors went all around the wash basin room and my back was enormous I looked like a heavy bouncer.

Going to try and peak again in a year or two. Just doing pushups to wake up the body again, already getting quick results.

leg4 06-19-2011 02:27 AM

I'm sure Big Cliff is very strong... But those were not full reps. Not on the bench and neither with the curls.

You guys are pussys. The first time I benched over 315 pounds was when I was 24 years old and that was a long time ago. One time I asked this huge guy in my gym what the secret to lifting alot of weight was. He said: "Put more on"

Man up and lift more weight. Stop crying that it's impossible. It's all in your head.

But it doesn't matter, I just talked to someone that personally saw you struggling with 185 at the gym THIS YEAR (he showed me a video of you needing a spot to get the bar off your chest after 3 reps @ 185) and being out of breath and stopping after jogging for 5 minutes.

Person said you kept making excuses for why you couldn't bench any weight.

Put up or shut up! If you can do 20 fucking sets of 225 for 20 reps, then it shouldn't be anything to show us how you can do ONE set of 20 reps of 225 right?.....Do you REALLY think somebody is going to take the time out to come workout with you and bring money on top of that when you're too pussyfied to even back up what you SAID you would do?

Nigga please.

Dude give it up. I have you on video. Unless you can prove otherwise, you fail.

Your cardio is horrible, I could literally run circles wearing ankle weights around any run you do. I've run thousands of kilometres without stopping for as much as a drink. I'm watching you in the video right now and you look HORRIBLY out of shape. Your gym gear is also brutal so I doubt you even have that $1000 you're talking about, Peter.

I'm also talking to someone on the phone right now that says that your excuse for an at home gym is little more than a treadmill and some dumbbells. This is someone very close to you that is telling me all of this, must suck to have a traitor in your close group of friends (or family?).

Put the video here. I work out in an MMA Gym and walk and jog in Temecula 12-14 miles a day. Whoever you think you are talking to hasn't seen me in years. I ride a road bike about 150 miles a week. I have a treadmill and a smith machine. Look at it in the background in this picture. Show up and show me up you pansy ass canadian eskimo.

You fat lazy webmasters and wannabes need to get off GFY and go outside, to the gym, or at least walk around the block.

The "World Record" for bench press is around 700-800 pounds not 225.

They go 150 miles A DAY in the Tour De France not 150 in a week. And at a pace 15MPH faster than mine... and through THE PYRENEES!!!

I never said I was an MMA fighter. I do train MMA and weightlifting has nothing to do with fighting except that it is a training exercise. The strongest weightlifters are NOT the best fighters.

Anyone who thinks my claims are "Imposible" can put thier money where thier mouth is and wager me a bet. I film porn, not me working out. But if you feel so strongly that I am lying about weightlifting then come see in person what I can do. I have nothing to prove, and my claims are not nearly gold medal or even competetive level - unless you are a fat lazy webmaster who gets winded just getting out of your chair.

Toodles!
