I had my iGallery tshirt up until a few years ago, then it disappeared. I didn't attend IA2000, but I was aware of it and wanted to go. I think my first Internext was 2002?

Miami 1999 was my first show! I'll never forget chatting with this great guy for at least an hour before he gave me his card and I had a laugh and asked him if Joe Lackey was his real name;-)

I wasn't going to post but you made me remember NetSol raping me for my domains because I had someone else listed as administrator (who succeeded in transfering them all away from me), and Noah stepping up to the plate and getting all but one back.

Still, I miss the one that I lost...

As of tomorrow - June 21 - my original site (still online) will be 13 years old; although I had to move it to a new domain name after the NetSol fiasco. At that time (mid-1998) I worked for FSN and - before that - I ran subscription BBS's in Toronto.

I might not be old school, but I sure feel old.

Yet another one of my personal bad decisions - I probably should have invested in DirectNic instead of going my own way. I'm just going to sit here and kick myself until the phone rings.

Never been to a show, but started up in the industry at the tail end of '99 or '00 anyway. Think I paid 30 bucks for a set of 50 pictures and made a couple of free sites. Virtual server was a hundred bucks a month and would crash if I got a handful of surfers.
Gee our old lasalle ran great, those were the days.

Net.P.ond Radio was launched with Prophet8 and Anthony doing the first audio, then I opened my first show with the big launch and the words "Fuck Sharky and Dokk's a pussy!" ;) haha
It was crazy. I brought in jaYMan, Headless, Wenchy, etc.

LOL! I remember in '94 having our bank open us a merchant account in LA, and having people BBS us their CC info so that we could punch it into the swipe machine that the bank gave us, and BBS back their password to the "virtual dreams" content.

Worked with O'Rielly Website and Hot Metal Pro. I thought they were the greatest as doing straight html beforehand. Went to IA2000 and had a blast. Used to use Photoshop in batch mode to process photos and would start a batch, go home for the night, and come back in the morning to see the results.
