Just because some worked hard and dont rise up to CEO,doesnt make them any less. That's reality and most people. if everyone became a superstar then it would have very little value. Those worker bees are the foundation of many great companies. |

For example farmers sell their cereals for $0.05 per pound but when you buy it in the shop (either as cereals or bread or pasta) you pay $2.00 per pound. This is due to speculation. Traders on Wallstreet buy a full harvest of cereals without ever seeing it let alone touching it, and they sell it again with huge profits. This is just an example. EVERYTHING is being traded on Wallstreet. Oil, electronics, knowlegde, video content. So I support this anti-Wallstreet movement which is now spreading to the rest of the world. As soon as I read about demonstrations in Paris I will join. What we need is going back to the macro-economies. Buy your meat from the farm at the other side of town. Buy your new TV from the local TV store and have it repaired there as well when it breaks down. In that way labor will get paid better again which will result in a better and honest product and health care will be affordable again. Watch a few Michael Moore documentaries. |

Because being brain surgeon is an interesting and challenging job. Why do you think US soldiers died fighting fascism in WW2 ? The big wages ? There are other things in life besides money. Money is important and it should be fairly distributed. If Bill Gates had to make a program that worked as it was supposed too he would be poor. It was the US society that decided that he could make a product that half worked and charge 10 times more than it was worth. Yuri Gagarin went to space and he told my mum it was because he loved to fly. |

I think it's fun to see you posting here all the time. As you are clearly a member of America's elite 1% ruling class, you sure don't seem to have anything worthwhile to do... unless of course you aren't as rich as you pretend to be, in which case you are on par with the idiotic Teatards, who foolishly vote against their very own interests. Either way, you are a sad case, but carry on... your betters enjoy what the delusional rabble has to spew. :1orglaugh :1orglaugh :1orglaugh |

So Citigroup isn't guilty, but the system is. Citigroup just uses the system to abuse us and steal money from the 99%. So don't blame it on Citigroup. That's brilliant. |

So much hate, anger, and frustration. It doesn't matter what side you're on - noone is working together to fix anything. Just fighting, yelling, and arguing.
Its not even an argument or discussion anymore - just the automatic gainsay of anything the other person says. |

Citigroup got something like $250+ billion between tarp and bailouts and some $300+ billion in government guarantees to cover toxic debt loans. And earlier this year Vikram Pandit got like a 15 or so million dollar bonus and more stocks. He's prob strapped man, that's why he didn't offer to pay any of it back. ... he knows he is part of the problem, the gov looked into them, aig is getting creamed right now. I'm still shocked he said anything, it at least shows they know they screwed us! |

What's up with all the antisemitism from these protestors?
Have you guys seen the videos on YouTube of them screaming "Go back to Israel" and harassing people who work on Wall Street calling them Jews and saying it's "the Jews" fault? I heard some of it today on the news and it was pretty extreme. I'm thinking that Nancy Pelosi might want to back off from snuggling up with this "movement" until it shakes out just a bit more. I got a bad feeling that there are very few of the actual original "movement" people there who honestly had something to say...and now it's 99% crazy New York rednecks raising hell because the television cameras are there. |

At the time Chaplin wrote it Hollywood was entertaining German Nazis. He could not get funding for his film "The Great Dictator" ,which contains the speech, and made the film with his own money. Britain said they would never show the film as it was anti German propaganda. It was shown as when the film was finished the Germans were bombing London. After the war Chaplin was refused an American visa because of his communist views. Thank you for sharing that. |

These people better hope that this does not become a worldwide movement. Every person in OWS is in the top 10% of the wealthiest in the world population overall. If the other 90% of the planet decides to come take their iphones, they are gonna be upset! LOL
