Except most "occupiers" are blaming Wall Street and "rich people" while the root of the problem is central banking.

From 1836 to 1913 our country had NO central bank (thanks mostly to Andrew Jackson) and the economy flourished for the most part.

1913 not only brought back the central bank, but it added the income tax along with it, something our country also did not have before 1913 and the government was still able to operate (contrary to people who believe there is no alternative to the income tax).

Nobody is blaming "rich people" in general, at least nobody with half a brain. The reason they're at wallstreet is because that's where these financial institutions are headquartered. Where exactly is AIG located? The insurance company that created credit default swaps, made billions in profit off of them and then went bankrupt when they had to pay out?


And if we had allowed these banks to fail who would take over the American banking sector? The federal government is keeping them on life support because if they didn't the shit would really hit the fan. We owe China over 1 1/2 TRILLION dollars, our number one export is debt, who do you think is going to take over our banking system if we let it fail?

You're right in saying that if they didn't bail them out that shit would have hit the fan, but the sad part is all they did was DELAY THE INEVITABLE. The shit will STILL hit the fan because the ROOT OF THE PROBLEM has not been dealt with. You can change wall street companies and tax codes and whatever else you want but it won't do a damn thing until the Federal Reserve is dismantled. They are the ones who create our currency in the first place. There is nothing "Federal" about it, it's a privately owned corporation out for their own profit who lends our government money with interest. Why do you think the income tax was created the same year as the Federal Reserve? Because your hard earned money goes to pay for the INTEREST on our own currency! If people actually understood this they would be outraged, but instead they're all confused and don't know who the hell to blame.

People want to talk about paying off our debt a little here and a little there, but you can't even begin to deal with the debt problem until we reform the banking system from the bottom up.

A generation ago a loaf of bread cost somewhere around $0.25. What does it cost today? That isn't Wall Street's fault, it's the Federal Reserve's fault. They create inflation and the bubbles to begin with!

Okay, okay...I've got an idea.

Let's go out and protest!

But instead of going out during business hours and letting our voices be heard on the streets marching...let's build a tent city in the park and start setting up it's own little "govt." and feeding stations and security, etc. so a few of us can finally be in positions of authority that we find we are not in "real life".

In the age of this "global economy" what you're going to hear if the Tea Party doesn't get its way is a giant sucking sound of wealth moving offshore.
