In a looks obsessed industry where being a size 0 model is king, what anyone on the other side of the camera looks like is immaterial. And it's unfortunate that the businesswomen in this industry are on an unlevel playing field. That being said, what matters most is professionalism, brains, style and class... something that many of the women in this thread are in no short supply of!

It's interesting, when I'm slimmer face to face I got alot of "Oh, I'm sorry, I though you were just a booth girl" or "Oh, you do marketing too!". For women it cuts both ways, and I don't feel it's unique to this industry. In dating I've always straddled the fence and you deal with it it in mainstream too. It's not like the 50's where there's a glass ceiling, but the ladies do have their own set of additional obstacles.
