A rose by any other name...
She's a pornstar. Period. His model, his rules though. The way he handled it makes him look like an unprofessional kid. I won't deal with him...or maybe I will just to get a rise out of him. |

No reply to me on that. I thought the post was flattering and in good taste though. We have a lot of models and programs re-tweet our stuff because they happen to like the presentation. In this case the model in question had an issue, shit happens. You can't please everyone all the time. |
haha batshit crazy
AB peeps what can you do |

That page on Encyclopedia Dramatica is pretty comical. |
If my GF was oozing white cream when I fucked her, I'd have her checked out. :2 cents:
|
you should be referring to her as a dirty fucking whore on your sites, pornstars actually make money.

Never, ever, ever, never, EVER date a nude model, pornstar, escort, stripper or cam girl.

I reckon that's how that control freak would react, going by the emails posted alone. |

If they aren't taking dick for cash, I will date them. Why the fuck not. All women are capable of being unfaithful whores, regardless of profession. EDIT: I wont date strippers either lol |

On top of that, you seem to feel that since "everyone" knows she once worked as "alias A" and now is "alias B," it should be perfectly acceptable to reference "alias A" and even its content when promoting "alias B." So a girl performs for Company A as Slut. She performs for Company B as Whore. So you think that its ok to promote Whore using Slut's content? So we should feel no qualms in using the content that Company A owns to send traffic and revenue to Company B? Seems to me like you're the one living in a mental bubble. :2 cents: |

It's not like the rules are buried deep in a ridiculous T&C. They are made clear to affiliates immediately upon signing up for the program. Not to mention the fact that outside of this security blanket of thread, many people, including myself, are likely to view such rules as being indicative of a stand-up, quality program. Maybe they're a little too protective as Roald said, but I'll take that all day over a program that seems a little too lax. Anyway, sorry to interrupt. Enjoy the rest of your group thumbsuck.:thumbsup |

Affiliate went out of his way to promote a program. Program owner sent from a "legal" address to sound threatening. Threats continued and the "vibe" of the language read to me... This program will be a massive pain in the ass going forward. Likely will keep a majority of the funds for some small, irrelevant reason. Affiliate said "go fuck yourself". The rest you know... By the way, this board is called "go fuck yourself". |
Sorry,
I agree with ALIAS here. The guys initial letter sounded incredibly bush league to me, and very unprofessional. At that point, Alias responded correctly to threats made out of nowhere via.. GO FUCK YOURSELF. Perfect response in my humble opinion. |

Again, I don't think anyone is defending the unprofessional way the sponsor handled the issue. We're merely addressing the core issue itself. |

If the owner gets his panties in a bunch because his current ex gf blew massive dick and now she is a sweet heart... That's his problem. Alias didn't say anything derogatory in the post to make sales from the program. He used the word pornstar and something else. This thread is getting ridiculous. Sure wish there was a program who converted crazy and didn't give a shit with extra drama |

As for the entire content drivel... If I have a site or section on a site that has content from a particular girl, it includes content from lots of sites... Some of the content will get the surfer interested in her.. Some other site (having "used" that other content indirectly) might end up closing the deal and getting the sale.. It's simply the way it is and if you think differently then you really don't understand porn marketing. |
Well, this is the Porn Business and I always thought that "softcore" was just an adjective.
As in, you know, "softcore porn" ... which I thought meant that someone who does softcore porn could still aspire to being called a Porn Star. I guess thousands of girl's dreams are simply crushed now. :( |
I feel stupidier after going through this thread ...
|
wait, someone is using false descriptions in porn?
GASP!!! an industry full of fake tits, lips, asses, vag lips, lashes and people paid to fake orgasms on camera.... this industry is based on using words to increase clicks. get over it. also, you aint gonna get a free ipod, i lie in those banners i also make ads that say you got a new message! and well, you dont... |

Crap, the hardcore pics are gone... Anyone got a mirror? :Graucho

I had a similar problem with one shitty sponsor. (not this bella shit, another one)
The sponsors closed my account because the photographer didn't like how I was promoting the women. The women in the paysite were all nude, but the photographer of the content FORCED the sponsor to close my account because I was putting words like masturbating or slut in my blogs, and the shitty photographer didn't like the idea)... So, the shitty sponsor closed my account, and he STILL OWES me money... Seriously, these last 2 years, some sponsors act like fucking idiots, no wonder some are realy going out of business, with that attitude, nobody will promote them. PIRIOD. |
