Just cut out sugar and anything that has flour in it.
|
Just cut out fried food and soda and you should be fine :)
Interesting diet though. I feel like sat fat should be a factor to some degree, no? |

its a good start but in order to not bounce back, which will happen once you stop capping at 1500 cals you need to add in more exercise and more healthier foods. Even small steps at a time can pay off a lot in the end.
I still eat what i want, just less often and mixed with more fruits and vegetables. I haven't been losing much weight lately, because i haven't been exercising as much as i should but I haven't felt this healthy in years because of adding a few small steps at a time every week. |

Keeping it off
My GF had liposuction about 20 years ago. Then started doing 2 Susan Powder work outs a day. (They're mean, I can do 5 minutes of the workout). And the Susan Powder diet is zero fat intake. Eat anything else. Although that may have backfired, as her cholesterol levels are high. Strange for someone who never eats. However, she went into Bi-Polar depression and quit working out. Finally got meds, but a side effect is weight gain. From 102 to 150. Age didn't help either as some point over 40, you're going to balloon up. Question is how much. Never saw anyone so little.

If you are drinking coke (i assume you also eat/drink other unhealthy food/drinks), your diet wont help you in the long run. You can eat a lot more than 1500 calories, but you have to eat healthy food.

Fat is not the enemy, too many calories are.
EFA essential fatty acids like fish oil and extra virgin olive oil are needed for good health. All those little things u do matter! |

I'm doing the same thing with a free app called "MyFitnessPal". Seems like almost every possible food is in their database, which makes counting calories super-easy. You can even 'scan' the product's bar code and it will automatically import the nutritional content.
I've been doing it for about 2 weeks and am down 5 pounds. I try to do some form of exercise every day to reward myself with a beer or two. It's quite simple actually and it's amazing to realize how much shit you shovel into your mouth once you start counting calories. For me it seems like the best way to change your lifestyle for the long-run, rather than doing some silly 1 month diet which is doomed to fail once you finish. |
