I'm on GFY perhaps once a month, but your posts continuously leave a bad taste in my mouth, to the point you stand out as a problem, not a solution... and many others react the same way I'm sure.

Once you learn this, your stay on GFY will be much more productive.

I have contacted you long ago regarding a question I had about a website design along with my budget and you basically laughed at me treating me poorly. Oh and you told me to go to fiverr instead so I did and then I had a great time there. lol Anyways, your work might be good (or not?) but after that encounter with you via e-mail and also on this forum I would never even think twice of going to you. Her rate is $300/day. If we assume an 8 hour day, that means her rate is only $37.50/hr. Not $60.

The issues this C*nt has with clients are novice issues. Any real professional knows how to deal with clients and how to process clients correctly and effectively. She just blames them and thinks it's their fault that she's a bitch.

Question. I have to look for a web designer very soon here. So let's say she claims she charges $300/day for working 8 hours. How do I know that she has worked 8 hours on my website a day for her or anybody else to charge me $300/day? I don't, right? So why not just charge based on a website she completes instead of charging per day? :disgust

You don't know how long she (they) spend on the project. She should charge based on the project. That IS the standard way to bill. Doing full wishlists, requirements, SOWs, timelines, proposals and agreements.

Day Rate billing is novice at best. From my perspective, it's a lazy way to bill. It indicates that they don't want to put the effort in to write up a full proposal or do any research to fully understand what you are asking for. It also tells me that I am not going to get the same value for my dollar that someone who did put the effort in, and did time & cost estimates along with a full scope write up is going to give me.

You're a lying cunt. Fris has referred me to you for a project I wanted done. It was not a one off/simplistic project either. I needed the site broken down into segments. After showing you a mockup of what I had done you told me to email you. I told you that it wasn't as simple as emailing and that it was something I had to show you because of things were put together. I wanted to make sure you had a clear understanding of what it was i was looking for. You then proceeded to brush me off and told me that it was a $1/minute if I wanted to explain it to you. You said that I could email you and that was that. After that 5 minute chat we had on ICQ i wrote you off as an arrogant and pretentious cunt...I can see by all your posts i was spot on.

I am so glad I never went with you. I would never use your services and i will discourage anyone from selecting you as their designer.
