Go throw eggs at the ICM Registry CEO's car or something. .XXX domains are selling for up to half a million lately. Although that may make you angry, it's a fact.

I never claimed to be impartial. No, I'm not angry at you or even jealous of you. You're incorrectly extrapolating that because a handful of .XXX domains have sold for an exorbitant amount, your domains also have some value. With your flawed logic, all .coms have value by comparing them to the mega million sales for sex.com and porn.com

My opinion is solely based on looking at the domains you posted. My perception is that you're a noob domainer wasting lots of money on worthless domains. Putting aside the .XXX extension, please explain why domains like 2015 / 2016 / 2017 / 2018 / 2019.whatever are desirable. These are clearly targeted toward each year, but who in their right mind would spend large amounts of money to buy a domain with limited utility and then spend additional resources or time to develop them? Who in their right mind would buy and develop ConsensualRape.com? You are more than welcome to prove me wrong by posting a few examples of your top quality domains, whether mainstream or adult.

Apologies to G-Unit01 for detouring this thread. Carry on with the domains for sale discussion.

Surely you weren't stupid enough to reg all of those .xxx and are now trying to sell them off are you? LOL

I don't remember claiming that my domains were worth 7 figures. In fact, I never mentioned any valuation at all. Someone asked for brand names, and I provided brand names. You're assuming that I have a viewpoint I never expressed. Straw man fallacy.

Really? So when you automatically excluded everything but the .COM's you weren't judging the .XXX domains based on the TLD itself? Honestly, I doubt you even looked at the .XXX domains. You presumably just saw that the list contained a TLD you're boycotting and then passed the list through a filter to make a point by interfering in somebody else's business.

2013.com sold on December 4th (2 days ago) at NameJet for $13,760. Look up the Google search volumes for "2011", "2012", and "2013" right now; and you'll have some idea why exact-match years are desirable. The mere fact that I have to explain this to you indicates that you, and not I, are being naive. You're already on record scoffing at the idea of owning a pure calendar year -- even "putting aside the .XXX extension". Clearly you don't get it. There were 343 bids from 302 distinct bidders in the auction for 2013.com. That's 302 people who were willing to pay a lot of money for something you can't even imagine someone wanting to develop -- even "putting aside the .XXX extension"! Obviously calendar years in .XXX are worth less than the .COM. But you didn't even understand why the SLD would have value! Wake up.

I'll stick with adult-related domains. During the summer, I sold Erotica.co.uk for $10,000. That's a matter of public record. Granted it's not a 7-figure sale, but it is substantial enough that I don't find your contemptuous attitude very relevant. People pay me money; so you can sneer as much as you like. Please list YOUR top quality domains.

P.S. Infoguy, this was supposed to be a thread for contributing adult domain ideas. You've offered insults and arguments, but have you actually contributed ANYTHING for the person who originally posted this thread?

You must be feeling like hitting yourself in the face, right?

Me? No.

You? Yes.

Surely you weren't stupid enough to ask such a stupid question. Do men really write "LOL"? I assumed that vocabulary belonged to 13-year-old girls.

Diomed 12-06-2012 04:11 AM

Give the guy a break already.

Wrong, I said you believe your domains have "some value".

No, I just quoted an earlier post by smut. Yes, I actually scanned through your list of domains. I thought they sucked then and I still think they suck, .xxx, .com or otherwise. Is ExSexy.com a new porn niche for fugly girls who were sexy before they were beaten with an ugly stick?

Comparing 2013.com to 2013.xxx is silly. 2013.com gets valuable typo traffic. 20##.XXX will never get typo traffic. Calendar years in .XXX and most other TLD extensions are worthless or near worthless.

I call bullshit. Erotica.co.uk was registered in 1996. While the domain was sold, there is no record of your alleged association with it. I looked up the WHOIS for a handful of your domains and none of them have a registration date prior to Summer 2011. As I said earlier and as the evidence indicates, you're a noob domainer. I have domains dating back to pre-2000, which should give you a glimmer of the domains I have.

Yes, G-Unit01 asked for suggestions and I suggested that he stay away from .XXX

You've just called me a liar.

Let me explain this to you slowly, since you're obviously ignorant about domains or else too lazy to do your homework before you go around slandering people.

1. Go to DomainTools.com.

2. Perform a Whois history search for Erotica.co.uk.

3. Compare the previous ownership to the current ownership on some of the domains in my list above.

4. I'm the previous owner of Erotica.co.uk prior to the $10,000 sale.

5. I"m the current owner of the domains listed above.

6. Conclude that you're a lazy stupid piece of shit.

7. Commit suicide.

InfoGuy 12-08-2012 05:31 AM

50 stupid noobs registering .XXX domains.

Don't use big words you don't understand. Slander is spoken and I've never spoken to you. Secondly, I said alleged, meaning I haven't libeled you either.

AdultAudiences 12-08-2012 05:37 AM

@InfoGuy,

You implied I was lying without bothering to get off your ass and check some simple facts. Bad manners, to say the least. When I refuted you, you answer with more insults.

Your credibility is zero, dude.

3xmedia 12-08-2012 05:38 AM

LOL, OP asked for a brandable domain and gets just peoples junk :error

AdultAudiences 12-08-2012 05:44 AM

I am genuinely sorry that the OP had his thread derailed by InfoGuy, who obviously just searches the forum for ".XXX" and then attacks anybody who mentions it without foaming at the mouth.

The OP asked for brandable domains. Everybody who contributed domains was acting in good faith. Anybody who came by just to shove people around ... is beneath contempt.
