It's only going to get worse for those sites. They will have so much ad crap on them in the attempt to cover their loses that surfers will go elsewhere. It's already getting to the point where surfers don't even see the ads.

I know a guy who's working on a video fingerprint system that can let you know which member downloaded the video from your Member's Area. It doesn't prove that member uploaded the video but it's a good start. I think there's only a small percentage of members that upload to free sites so this software will identify which ones are the uploaders or leaks.

I monitor several large Forums and it's actually funny to read their comments. One thief will download your video from your Member's Area and post it on a locker, then several other thieves will download that video and re-post it to the same locker for profit. The thieves are getting pissed off that other thieves are stealing their uploads, lol. It blows my mind when they bitch about other thieves stealing "their" hard work.

It's going to take awhile but it will come around and bite them in the ass. A business model solely based on theft cannot be sustained indefinitely.

Oh yes - you hit it right on the mark. Those guys go crazy when a forum closes, file locker closes or like last week, payment system died like LibertyReserve.com did.

Crazy that they start claiming they can't feed kids and all that because their stealing is not paying off.

Has anyone ever checked out what's in the Member's Area of these tubes that offer "Premium Service"? It can't be the same videos because they would no longer be protected by DMCA. I'd like to check it out to know for sure but I bet they do some shady stuff with billing.

To be protected under DMCA they can't profit directly from stolen content so that's why they all claim the videos are "user uploaded". They make money off ad space, not the content directly. The owner can't upload the videos because that could indicate they had prior knowledge of copyright work so most pay upload monkeys to do it for them. I'm not that familiar how those scripts work so they might even have a way to upload the videos themselves and make it look like they were user uploaded.

My guess is inside the Member's Area there is a bunch of generic purchased content.

True and the list is long. Motherless pissed me off because they had pages upon pages of my full length videos. I sent a DMCA and they were removed but oddly enough all the same videos appeared again under a different "user".

Hire some VA to start sending complains to them and many others on a daily basis. Because you are pretty much wasting your time. Do something more useful for your business than reporting to GFY every video you find on the site.

I don't think they actually "remove" the videos but rather "deactivate" them. Some tube scripts have the feature to deactivate videos and then re-enable them at a later date, under a different "user" of course.

The owner of motherless sent me a login that allows me to remove my videos myself but I haven't used it yet. I'm sure most tube owners would rather the producer quietly remove the videos rather than submit a DMCA each time.

We have to keep in mind that these guys aren't business men, they are thieves and don't give a fuck about the work that goes into producing videos and maintaining a paysite. They believe if you don't want your videos stolen and shared then don't put them on-line. The whole "We can't possibly moderate all the videos that get uploaded daily" is a load of shit. If that's the case then there would be plenty of non-porn related videos uploaded. If tube owners don't have the time or manpower to moderate what's being upload to "their" servers then they're in the wrong business.

They are out for the quick buck and don't have enough foresight to see the problems they are creating by destroying the affiliate model which was working well. Mark my words, they will figure it out eventually and wish they didn't burn that very important bridge.
