Not only did MSNBC grossly edit this footage, they are now doing everything they can to remove the edited version from the web.
They completely changed the story to suit an agenda. And it couldn't have been more obvious after seeing both videos. |

NRA stands up for our constitutional rights and people bash them and act like they are responsible for the actions of some demented individual... the logic is so ridiculous it's not even funny...

Once again the liberal media have edited a video to fool the American people and push an agenda. It's fucking crazy. And not one person on the left is raising their voice against this kind of bullshit. Where are you GrantMercury? Don't you think the title of this thread should be: "Left Wing Sicko Liars Try To Mislead The American People Again" ? |
Also kinda funny how I always hear the howling about how biased Fox News is.
But this is just one of many videos that NBC has edited and tried to push a liberal agenda with and then had to back down and apologize. Fox News has NEVER done that! Why don't liberals complain about NBC? The answer is because they are hypocrites. Thank goodness that none of the news channels is a puppet of the Libertarian Party. My party is clean. You Repubs and especially you Dems are so dirty and hypocritical that it's ridiculous. |

Doesn't matter much I guess. Anyone can get a firearm and no one tracks anything, so it doesn't matter at all. |

GrantMercury - You might have better results if you don't make posts that include things like the quotes below.

was working late till I read this thread and now Im just disappointed with people in general. Sad is the only word to describe this. Life, business, money dont matter without our children and family. This man lost his family and so did many others. Edited or not it's sad and he should not be called a douchebag or an actor as I read all over youtube. Disappointing

It does seem this video, which was the subject of this post, was misleadingly edited. It was very irresponsible journalism. Shameful. :disgust

Going a little further...
On occasion, I've presented Grant with documented contradictory information and he has been willing to accept that info. :thumbsup I can say that has NEVER happened with the far right-wingers on this board. They just disappear from the discussion or change the subject. It's exactly like trying to have a rational conversation with a religious fundamentalist. No new information has a chance of getting inside that bubble. |

The greatness of the interwebs is you can now get a variety of sources with different angles. but the progressive mind must be wary of selecting only outlets that conform to ones political persuasions. Both ideologies have deep thinkers if you seek them out. one of my former friends attacks fox mercilously while he watches endless doses of MSNBC. But he claims he has no more love for dems then repubs. I LOL when he speaks this way. |

MSNBC is facing criticism today about the editing of a portion of the legislative hearing on guns in Hartford, CT earlier this week. Neil Heslin, the father of a Sandy Hook Elementary school shooting victim, was speaking before a committee at which local citizens, including gun rights advocates, attended. MSNBC portrayed a portion of the clip ? toward the end of Heslin?s 15 minutes of testimony ? as though he was being heckled. The 33-second clip aired on Tamron Hall?s show, Martin Bashir?s show and later on Al Sharpton?s show. Here it is: http://www.mediabistro.com/tvnewser/...ts-too_b164867 |

However, it is very ridiculous that nbc would doctor footage like that.....I as a liberal think it's wrong. |

Am I crazy to just want the "news" to report stuff instead of trying to make shit up and create news? |
