It's 2013... what's with the busy signals? They can book rooms up online in order of request and require at least a non-refundable deposit.

if the lines aren't available, one can't call. That is in the control of the hotel

If we all hit an online reservation system at the same rate we hit the phone line when the rooms become open to book, it wouldn't last long.

The whole point of the Phoenix Forum was to be on property. If you can't do that, it kinda sucks.

Also the local authorities have started clamping down on the nudity, etc. so it's not as much fun as it used to be.

I live in Vegas. I see no reason to spend an entire half a day TRYING to get a room so I can drive down to Phoenix? lol

If I want to party I can just do it right here in Vegas. Phoenix is like the last place I would go.

But yeah, if it were easier to get a room and everyone could be on property like the AVN summer show in Florida was...then I would drive down to Phoenix for a few days.

Just not gonna do it if I can't stay at the host hotel and everyone else isn't staying on property as well. That was the whole point of the Phoenix Forum because it made it a nice little networking show.

I'm gunna bring a tent and camp on the big hill up behind the pool.

I can't tell you how much of jerk I feel like for posting this. Th epeople there have been realy nice. I have stayed at the courtyard 1 block away but this year some super smart travel agent dude in la bought every room from the marriot 3 months ago. The day I saw dates listed listed for phx forum like 2-3 months ago I tried to book rooms then but they were already sold out.

About moving to a larger venue ... I don't know if Phoenix Forum would be the same without the courtyard with its snack shacks ... and the way the pool and court are tucked away and private.

I'd rather stay at another hotel close by if it meant being able to keep it at the Mission Palms.
