fitty xhamsters :)

I must confess that, as a program owner, I'm in a bit of a schizophrenic situation with tubes... I don't want to give away my content for free but as many of my affiliates have seen their traffic melt down like a burning candle over the years, I've been forced to find new ways to generate traffic to my sites. Some tubes make a pretty decent job at generating sales, xhamster is one of them with ratios of 1:1200 (at this time). Some other tubes have been fucking around with me, like pornhub, whose ratio have plummeted from 1:1500 to 1:25000. But the worse with Pornhub scammers is that they've been messing with my uploads by creating playlists, channels, and all sorts of Search Engine friendly pages with my domain names in it, ie with the "18closeup.com" tag, just to rank above my own site in Google and steal my organic traffic, which is by far of a better quality than their shitty traffic!!
(youporn has been doing the same, in a lesser extend, and hopefully Richie is still there to limit manwin's inclination in shooting their own feet)

I have a 'regular user' account with legit content I have permission to upload, with my own watermark, to make money for both the sponsor and myself.

All videos get 'removed for watermark'.

No other tubes have a problem with this watermarked content.

My content partner account is fine of course, but, as I don't have an affiliate program for this other content, and it's <12 mins or whatever, I can't upload via that account :error

So, how do I, with legit content I have permission to use, work with you to give you content for your users, in return for type-in traffic? skype in profile, or my email is admin at cfnmparty .co .uk - I'm hoping we can sort something out :thumbsup

you are dancing around the issue and it amuses me :1orglaugh

dude you know I can not upload my own content for free and you know it :1orglaugh

you can not upload watermarked content without an affiliate account...

so im supposed to give up free material to your users and PAY you for it??? :1orglaugh:1orglaugh:1orglaugh

show me how to upload my own content without having my own affiliate account or just accept that its not possible for producers to promote their material for free...

Also keep in mind that ratios are only part of it. There is also ctr which matters. If the ctr is 1% and there were a million views that means out of the 1 million people watching that 10 minute video only 10,000 actually clicked through (or typed in the url on the watermark). If the ratio is 1:2000 that means only 5 sales for 1 million views of ten minutes of your content.

Comparatively if an affiliate runs a legal tube with 3 minute clips and has a ctr of 4% somehow with the same 1:2000 ratio that means 1 million views on their tube will generate 40,000 clicks and make 20 sales.

Which one is it in your best interests to see get more traffic and visitors seeing your content?

Many of you THOUGHT you were getting rid of those pesky affiliates. Now you are finding you still have those affiliates only in smaller numbers. And now instead of 1 minute promo clips with your watermark they want 10 minute clips with no watermarks AND they want to join your affiliate program so they get their cut. Plus now they are stealing your google ranks. I wonder what the deal will be in five years? I bet you will be paying them a flat rate to submit 40 minute videos plus you will still have to pay them a cut for sales. Maybe they will require you to use their own processor or keep the content on their own domains? :upsidedow

This is correct. Just because someone owns the rights to a scene does NOT mean they produced it and it also does not mean they won't spam viagra or some crap via watermarks on the video. I am not a big fan of tube sites but typically a lot of people on this thread are talking through their ass.

But the uploaders from the Philippines who are uploading your member area didn't produce any content either. It's strange to see Xhamster care so much about the watermarks. It more seems to me that they don't like the idea of content owners making any money without them getting a cut.

Someone uploads your member area with the watermark removed = Fine. It stays until you DMCA
You upload a 10 minute promo clip with a small watermark = video removed manually by xhamster

smammers are just being used as an excuse to make producers pay to let xhamster give their content away for free to its users and make $$ on the banners :1orglaugh

I wont even ask what their "cut" is LOL the whole principle is just too much of a slap in the face...

Sure, yet 1 million viewers still make some kind of brand recognition, right...? :error Btw ctr is at best at 2%! Wow, did we really fall back so far ?

i will not fight this ill just go with the flow...

you make it easy for people to rip shit and upload with no water mark and do not care to really and genuinely moderate user uploads...in short you are wide open to spammers and rippers...you make it hard for producers to upload with a watermark, this is, somehow, heavily moderated :1orglaugh...you obviously prefer rippers and spammers to producers...

I wont rip, I have my own content...but its easier for me not to fight this, and to join the spammers...watermarks do not have to be constant or at all, lots of other ways to spamvertise, accounts can be generated by the 100-s, IP-s changed like pants and ill get more ROI if I hire some indian to do it all day long than to pay you guys to give my content out for free...

it would be against my interest to give you the link to my website considering how you treat producers...ill just rebrand and recontent the one I have and dedicate the rebranded one to spamming your site...

I will upload the quality clips on other tubes, ill leave the leftovers to spam yours...quantity not quality...

you will not go bankrupt or lose any sleep over it...but its sad that legit content producers who wish to promote are treated worse than spammers...

Hawkins 05-23-2013 03:54 AM

Crusifissio,
You don't show your site, you don't ask for producers account, I'm 99% sure your content isn't legit. People with legit content never have a problem to post a link to their site.
