ok for sports one of my fav's is: 9.79*
very well made and there is a conspiracy in it.
but if you remember sports in '80's then this is great stuff.:2 cents:

http://www.reddit.com/r/documentaries - my fav subreddit. You can sort by "Best of the Week, Month, Year" etc... constant stream of good stuff (most of the time).

For sports I'm afraid I have to admit being very, very biased. I only really watch anything related to Football (soccer) Or European interest sports in general. I did find Moneyball the movie interesting though. Watched Bigger, Faster, Stronger earlier which was suggested in the thread before. Found that interesting and extremely sad because of the way these guys thought building muscle was some kind of "life". But it was good.
