You guys are forgetting something. First, he's a really bankable star, and Terminator is a very bankable franchise. Arnie IS the Terminator. It is a financial windfall to have Arnie back in his Terminator undies. Hopefully when James Cameron gets the rights back in 2017 or whenever he will make at least 1 more Terminator movie with Arnold. THAT will be spectacular.

Long story short, that was all Arnold in T3. One thing the guy's proven over the years is he's not afraid to do work.

didnt work for me in t3. Maybe because the movie itself was bad, I dont know.

I think I'm one of the only people who actually liked T3, despite the recasting of John Connor and the aging Arnold.

(I typically can't stand a movie that's been recast. I think T3 and Iron Man 2 have been the only exceptions.)

I like T3 better than T2. I'm not saying it's a better movie, I just really dislike T2.

Basically there is only one Terminator movie, and then there's a bunch of kiddie spin offs.

He is and will stay a legend. And Terminator movie will never be same without him, but no he shouldn't be acting again ....

Me too, and that includes most "reboots"/remakes. A perfect example was Hairspray. John Travolta trying to speak through the "fat suit" prosthetics was just too much of a distraction for me. Had they gone with Harvey Fierstein or Bruce Vilanch who had successfully played the role on Broadway it would have been a much better film. The rest of the casting was great, especially their Tracy and Moms, but Travolta's performance turned it into a "once was enough" for me, unlike the original I still pull out every few years. Of course without their "bankable star" they would have attracted a much smaller new audience beyond fans of the original.

An exception for me is Star Trek. I was aghast when I first heard they would be using the iconic characters from TOS, but the cast won me over. :upsidedow

He should quit acting. I thought he had already.

In Terminator 5 the story line is about a 75 year old t-800 model that infiltrates a retirement home to kill John Connor.
