You just focus on turning your once great country into a communist hell-hole and leave your nose out of Canadian affairs. We don't need people like you over here ruining our country too. We have enough of them here already. . |
BING Query
"How Does US Healthcare Rank in the world among industrialized nations?" 38th place World Health Organization ranking of health systems in 2000 - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia New Health Rankings: Of 17 Nations, U.S. Is Dead Last New Health Rankings: Of 17 Nations, U.S. Is Dead Last - The Atlantic The Most Efficient Health Care Systems In The World (INFOGRAPHICS) It's remarkable how low America places in health care efficiency: among the 48 countries included in the Bloomberg study, the U.S. ranks 46th, outpacing just Serbia and Brazil. Once that sinks in, try this one on for size: the U.S. ranks worse than China, Algeria, and Iran. But the sheer numbers are really what's humbling about this list: the U.S. ranks second in health care cost per capita ($8,608), only to be outspent by Switzerland ($9,121) -- which, for the record, boasts a top-10 health care system in terms of efficiency. Furthermore, the U.S. is tops in terms of health care cost relative to GDP, with 17.2 percent of the country's wealth spent on medical care for every American. In other words, the world's richest country spends more of its money on health care while getting less than almost every other nation in return. The Most Efficient Health Care Systems In The World (INFOGRAPHICS) New England Journal of Medicine Ranking 37th — Measuring the Performance of the U.S. Health Care System MMS: Error These Are The 36 Countries That Have Better Healthcare Systems Than The US Costa Rica ranks higher :1orglaugh:1orglaugh:1orglaugh The 36 Best Healthcare Systems In The World - Business Insider This was 6 years ago but I expect the numbers are even worse now https://answers.yahoo.com/question/i...5065809AAQrcWR First a few facts. In terms of the human development index, the United States has fallen from second place in 1990 (behind Canada) to 12th place. This decline continued through both the Clinton and Bush administrations, with the US falling to sixth in 1995, ninth in 2000, and 12th in 2005. In certain respects, the decline is even worse. The US is 34th in infant mortality—with a level comparable to Croatia, Estonia, Poland and Cuba. US school children perform significantly below their counterparts in countries like Canada, France, Germany and Japan, and 14 percent of the population, some 40 million people, lack basic literacy and number skills. Of the world’s 30 richest nations, which comprise the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD), the United States has the highest proportion of children living in poverty, 15 percent, and the most people in prison, both in absolute numbers and as a percentage of the whole population. With five percent of the world’s population, the US has 24 percent of the world’s prisoners. The report notes: “Social mobility is now less fluid in the United States than in other affluent nations. Indeed, a poor child born in Germany, France, Canada or one of the Nordic countries has a better chance to join the middle class in adulthood than an American child born into similar circumstances.” In overall life expectancy, the United States ranks an astonishing 42nd, behind not only Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Japan and all the countries of Western Europe, but also Israel, Greece, Singapore, Costa Rica and South Korea. The US spends twice as much money per capita on health care as any of these countries, but its citizens live shorter lives. http://www.wsws.org/articles/2008/jul200... The reason is pretty obvious for any non free market fundamentalist. In a lot of area's and certainly healthcare the for profit motive does not lead to the best results. When it benefits the whole society it's nothing but pure logic to organize products and or services together. Socialism is not about "big government", it's about people working together and understanding people should not serve the system but the system should serve us. http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=... Free market fundamentalism stands in the way of reforms to change the American health system that is not unsuccessful in the logic of how it's set up. The goal is to make money and a lot of money is indeed being made. Most people would agree that should not be the goal of a good healthcare system but still shy away from drawing the logical conclusions or are easily persuaded by right wing demagogy about socialism. Source: http://www.alternet.org/story/92426/...h/?page=entire I think Putin should feel free to tell Harper and his "western allies" cronies to go fuck themselves. Which I think he just did in Iran before stopping my to wipe his cock on Harper's jacket in Australia. |

Single payer system Allow for profits to fuel innovation and development but not greed. I have 2 family members who are both doctors, in Japan. They make 150-200k per year. Japan is at the cutting edge of many technologies and beyond the US in many ways. The most important way is the actual healthcare we are provided. Health care led by doctors who want to help and heal people. Look at the stats on hospice care for those about "to go." Its like vampires feeding at a pig's trough with the only purpose in mind to put the maximum amount of profits into people's pockets. I learned after coming here, the fine doctors at UCLA Medical Center had no idea what they were doing except loading me up on blood pressure meds that German and Japanese physicians KNOW are worthless. I am glad major Asian countries and Russia are stepping up to knock the American Federalist system down. I'm in the mood for a free-for-all. Lets see how this shit shakes out. EU and UK people are wising up too. IN 2014, Federalism and predatory-capitalism (American capitalism) obviously equate to Corporate Fascism. Most Americans are too dumb or ill-informed these days to see it. Just ask, Mr. Gruber. Or Pornhub. |
Putin at G20: Why Nobody Wanted to Eat Lunch With Him: Video - Bloomberg
Seems that nobody wanted to have lunch with Putin and as the presenter (Matt Miller) said that's not a party he want to stay at either... The poll at the end is totally daft. 50% think Putin is a big threat, only 26% think ISIS - it should be the opposite! |

The way China/Russia are attacking the petrodollar today, its just a matter of time before the USD becomes less than 50% of usage and as you say even EU and even Germany are now questioning their allegiances (judging by recent pieces in Handelbrott or whatever they call it). Interesting, as you said, to see how the shit shakes out..... :1orglaugh |

brainwash is the problem...most north koreans truly believe they live in the greatest country in the world and so do most americans... also the "innovations" that the USA makes are like i-innovations like on the i-phone...mostly hype and bullshit...I keep hearing about american "innovations" but cancer is still there in every way shape and form and so is every other diesease because US healthcare is not in to curing but making $$$$ the USA spends trillions and trillions on "innovations" can anybody tell me what major disease the USA cured in the last 20 years? it does not count if some chineese immigrant went to the USA and found a cure for some rare condition that 1 in 1.000.000 have for one trillion dollars :1orglaugh I bet nobody can name anything that the US "innovated" that really counts :2 cents: so the "innovation" argument is like the "Freedom" argument :2 cents: |

well..Tesla created electricity but not because he was a Serb, but because he had a chance to do develop his natural talents in US. I think that is more objective approach. Judging people regarding their origin is not smartest thing to do. We don't choose where we will be born and no one of us can control what his country (I mean government) will do.
And that photo Mutt published above is ridiculous, probably from some movie. Here it is a real life video . Looking good if you consider how many times it was bombed hard by Austrians,Germans,Allies, NATO... |
To say the US hasn't innovated anything is just insane. Also, cancer survival rates are up. Anyway, yes the US has some issues, especially with the "elite", but the elite don't trouble many countries because there wouldn't be any profit in it.
There is a difference between irrational anger and jealousy, and actual criticism. To wish for anarchy for its own sake .... means you have no idea at all what you're wishing for. Basically a very immature attitude. Raise your hand if you've lived in more than one country for more than 6 months, and you're not a one trick pony like a druggy that only cares about the hashish and whether they hassle you for it as the basis for judging a country. How does it handle children, education, health, freedom, is it internationally dickish? does it view its citizens as slaves? is it corrupt? can you do an honest days work and prosper? Is there an "above the law" crowd? etc |
