As about villages. They are all almost dead in Russia (nobody wants to live there). Only about 6% of Russians live in villages (for a comparison, more than 610 thousands of Americans are homeless, BTW ;)). And this percent is lesser and lesser every year. So only an idiot would consider village "hospitals" as an example of typical Russian clinic. But you are an American and it's excusable for you :)
