I sold Femdom artwork at Lady Thorn's Bizarre Flea Market in December 1993. Overall, I didn't sell much and was told artwork doesn't do well at the show. Looked around at what everyone was buying and how much (or little) they were paying. Realized they were buying things that had a purpose. Next year, I came in with a calendar of my work for $20 and did well.

I used to hang around the webmaster shows, on the lookout for careless attendees that were not keeping an eye on their camera equipment. I'd pocket as many cameras (and phones) as poosible, then resell them the next day on GFY to new people coming into the business.

My first check was from IEG "Internet Entertainment Group" signed by Seth Warshavsky in 1996.

And it fucking bounced.

I remember getting at least one 3 cent check from them I'm not sure if it bounced or I didn't deposit it because I heard they were no good.

.....and so did I a year earlier, yet it was then called "erotic thrillers" and were rated R.

Xpics in 1998. They were paying something like $0.18 a click and would have promo days like July 4th where they'd go up to something ridiculous like $0.45 a click.

I found out years later that they were banging cards and making it impossible to cancel.
