Wasn't my back but it was from deadlifting. Forearms apparently couldnt keep up with the weight I was pulling and developed horrible tendinitis in both arms. Been using grippers, and making sure I focus on building the strength in my forearms before going back to deadlifting. Also, keeping strap use to a minimum as well (I always have, but will moreso now than ever)
