Anyhow, she has a plan and it involves dragons. It just might work.

Yara is much more likely to be bisexual than a full on lesbian. Even she said "I'm gonna go fuck the tits off this one" it could be aggressive joking cus Yara is an iron islander, who are basically a kind of lusty Scottish Viking.

Let me repeat:
King announced the alliance AFTER Jamie tried to attack the faith (thus Jamie did not know about the alliance and was acting to king's benefit, as he thought at that time).

I know that, but which is worse for Tommen, the faith or Cersei? Lesser of two evils principle.

Yara?s character in the book series (Asha) is not as queer.

That is besides the point. The point that Jamie did not make such a logical argument that would be said by anyone is a flaw in the script in my books.

Edmure Tully was never particularly smart or brave. And disappointed that we didn?t see the Blackfish fighting.

I think we got a little bit of a preview from Bran...I don't think all of this was from the Battle of the Blackwater?

I know kings were not the ones to talk back at those times, but still did not make any sense to me.
I see this as a huge logic gap, although I understand those who do not care for things like that..

With Cersei's trial coming up, Tommen knows that having Jamie around is too dangerous for the High Septon.

EonBlue 06-20-2016 10:00 AM

Last night's episode was amazing. The most epic thing I have ever seen produced for television. I can't wait to see how they plan to top that.

.

bronco67 06-20-2016 11:00 AM

That battle rivaled anything I've seen in a feature film. There were at least two times I thought Jon Snow was going to die again. I really thought the writers were actually going to kill him.

I am not sure how could I be more clear. I am repeating this for the last time:

I am not questioning King's decision.

I am saying that it was unrealistic that Jamie did not say this (or equivalent) phrase in response to King's "you attack faith = you attack crown":

"I did not know that crown and faith made an alliance at the time of my attack. I thought I was fighting for the crown at that moment".

I am ONLY questioning the fact that Jamie did not say something like that because it would be something that anyone would have said in that situation in their defense.

I understand that some people have no issue with that, but in my books that was the most unnatural, illogical screen writing for that part. Big script mistake in my books.

And I would have no problem if king left his decision standing after that, I am only having problem that Jamie DID NOT SAY something like that.

mineistaken 06-20-2016 04:29 PM

Great Bastard battle episode by the way.

Jaime knows that he has been outwitted by the High Septon and that he's the one pulling the strings on Tommen. Therefore Jaime would understand it would do him no good to pose that question to Tommen.

I'd see your point if I thought Jaime didn't understand why he was being punished but he knows.

Last 2 episodes have been brilliant. Iv been thinking, to end the show, do you think there is any chance they might do a movie?. Have the next 2 seasons on tv and then finish it all with a 3 hour movie. Chuck tons of money at it for the big battle scenes etc. Id love to watch the end on the big screen

bronco67 06-27-2016 11:27 AM

Pretty much EVERYTHING happened in the season finale. This show has been firing on all cylinders.

Bold move by Cersei. I approve.

Cersai was amazing fucking with that nun. Getting raped by the Mountain forever... that is awesome.

Next season I can't wait for Tawin to re-unite with his siblings... should be sick!

With Jon being the son of Rhaegar Targaryen it could be argued that he has a stronger claim to the Iron Throne than even his Aunt Daenerys Targaryen.

I've heard they've discussed a movie, but not sure if it's a Big Screen movie or an HBO movie. :)

I'm wholy on board with R+L=J, and yes, Jon's got a much better claim than Daeny. I think Jon's going to hang out in the North, though, and do his best to defeat the Night's King rather than making his way down to King's Landing. And he's still a bastard - unless Lyanna and Rheagar had a wedding (I don't recall this from the books but I'm not through DWD)...?

However, how might that change the feelings of the Northern houses (most specifically, little Lady Mormont) if he's not Ned's son, but Lyanna's?

Sansa, on the other hand... Is it just me or do her scenes with Littlefinger get creepier and creepier?

Could Jon Snow be that Westeros marriage material that Daenerys alluded to when saying goodbye to Dario?

You know how those Targaryens love to keep it in the family.
