The cast didn't boo him. At the end of the show, the cast came out for its final bow and acknowledged he was in the crowd. They then thanked him for coming and the crowd started to boo him. The cast actually quieted the crowd, then they read a statement to Pence saying they were worried that the Trump administration would ignore the environment and that it wouldn't be an inclusive administration. They then urged him to be inclusive and a leader for every American.

It's fair. If he wants to sign a law that makes it okay for businesses to discriminate against gay people in Indiana, he has to accept that he might get some feedback on that when he goes to a Broadway play in New York.

Pence has his say

Pence: I 'wasn't offended' by Hamilton message | TheHill
Quote:

Vice President-elect Mike Pence said Sunday he "wasn't offended" after the cast of the Broadway hit "Hamilton" called for the Indiana governor to uphold the country's values in a personal message after a show.
"I know this is a very disappointing time for people that did not see their candidate win in this national election. I know that this is a very anxious time for some people," Pence said on "Fox News Sunday."

"And I just want to reassure people that what President-elect Donald Trump said on election night he absolutely meant from the bottom of his heart ? he is preparing to be the president of all of the people of the United States of America."

The Indiana governor said he's confident the American people will see the president-elect be a president for all of the people.

You've clearly never been to a Broadway production nor do you know the history of casts interacting with the audience. You are no judge of class or decorum.

The man who believes in gay conversion therapy went to Broadway and.... You can just imagine how well that went.

Really? It's common practice for casts to single out audience members and chide them for their political beliefs?

Was guy speaking to Mr Pence anything but respectful? That's why Pence responded with respect.

Pence recommends seeing Hamilton ...
Seems he took the message to heart -- under advisement.

Trump was being exactly as expected -- a reactionary. Thought I was going to say asshat -- well that too :0P

Politics is a rocky road -- get used to it :2 cents:

His Twitter post cracks me up....

"The cast and producers of Hamilton, which I hear is highly overrated, should immediately apologize to Mike Pence for their terrible behavior".

Yeah, Hamilton is "over rated". That's why it costs $800 a ticket.

This is what we should expect from Trump - ranting about crap on Twitter when he doesn't get his way.

Guy supports shock therapy to treat "the gay"

Yet is surprised when he isn't welcome at a Broadway show...These guys used every dirty trick to win an election based on fear and hate...What did they expect?
