How much input did politicians bought and paid by the corrupt corporations have?

Was the original ACA set up to keep State Borders, drug and care prices high, etc?

Or were those changes put in to get the bill through the houses?

If so either way, you need to think long and hard about who you vote for.

A practical solution is in operation in most of the modern world.

Whatever replaces ACA will cost a similar amount of money.

Cross State Line competition only works if the Next State's hospitals charge a lower price. Hospitals, doctors, nurses, surgeons etc. Have to be willing to accept lower wages to make competition work. A better alternative would be to fly patients to India or Czech, or any country with a Private Hospital that offers lower rates. And of course, Insurance Companies have to be ready to charge less to earn more from more customers. Risking getting lots of people in poor health all paying less. Can you see that happening while they make so much already?

Drugs have to be brought in from overseas or have the prices fixed at a far lower rate. How much cheaper are the same drugs bought in Mexico, Canada, etc?

So long as the Healthcare industry is allowed to dictate to its customers. Customers will get overcharged.
