The Republican party had eight years to come up with a replacement. And they didn't bother. The Republican party is going about this all wrong. If your car gets a flat, you dont' replace the car. Fix what is wrong. What's going to happen is they are going to replace it, it won't have some of the features everyone wants, and it will cost just as much.

Once again parroting a fake and false narrative perpetuated by Black Jesus and Democrats. There were plenty of alternatives that were never allowed to the floor by Reid.

Its one thing for you fucking idiots to be biased... we all are. It's another thing entirely to live in an alternate world where you can just say wrong and fake shit over and over until your own team believes it to be fact.

Funny all you morons gather under the banner of "why do the other guys lie" as you sit here and jerk each other off in an alternate reality while parroting the same old lies to each other.

Seriously? The Republicans Have No Health Plan?

Republicans Offer Obamacare Alternative

Why not ask "why do Democrats lie" ... oh yeah, thats right! all you fuckwits who believe you stand for truth and justice exclude yourselves and your team from the process of supposedly "pointing out hypocrisy"....

No matter if you like it or not, it's been a success. Sure it needs tweeks, but they are trying to convince the simpletons it's failing so they can repel it with no replacement.

Republicans have no plan at all nor do they intend to replace it. They want to end it and that will be that.

The insurance companies will then have a massive field day denying people insurance. They will claim they have to write new plans and anyone with a serious pre-existing health issue will be denied a new plan.

Even republican state governors are scared to death because if obamacare is repelled their states will take the brunt of it.

Meanwhile dumbfucks in dc are lying to the simpletons who are too stupid to realize it's them who will also lose their health insurance.

all politicians lie.

Grow up!

Not like this. Republicans literally will lie to your face about shit that is easily proven as lies.

I knew this would be the standard wing bat response.. Every time the right does stupid shit you can't deny or explain away you guys always pull the "both sides do it" card..

Just man up and say you don't care that they lie to you as long as it's what you want to hear.. That's the actual truth.

Great to see the first episode of Crockett and Friends was a huge success on MSNBC. Can't wait to see what the topic of the next one will be.

What are you babbling about? Laughing at your inability to see that you're just the other side of the same dirty coin means I've "had the wool pulled over my eyes"?

Democrats do not hold majority power. They haven't in Congress for over 2 years and now do not hold the WH. The Democrats have very little to do with policy at this point and time, so it's rather useless to complain about them, they are not the ones creating policy, they can only vote for or against/block it..

You are just typical stooge who thinks because I call out your team, then I must be the enemy. Democrats don't even control 1/3 of the govt so why would I need to complain about them?

Meanwhile you ramble on complaining about Democrats who are not in power.. why are you so biased?

Both sides lie and as long as you keep picking them they have no reason to change.

As a committed Democrat, you're part of the problem and not the solution.

There's no reason at all to adopt the same system of Healthcare the rest of the modern world uses. Cheaper and better. So what's stopping America?

It was flawed from the start just like many predicted it would be but you libs wouldn't listen. "We'll read it after it's passed."

Fortunately it appears that Trump is listening to the only sensible person on the matter, Rand Paul. It looks like Paul may even be his repeal and replace go to guy.

So as they go bankrupt a Government run insurance scheme kicks in. Setting ceilings for drug prices, hospital care, doctors and surgeons etc.

What's stopping America from doing that?

The same thing that's stopping people on no-fly lists buying a gun. Corruption on both sides of the house and simpletons who vote like turkeys voting for Christmas.

It shouldn't come as a huge surprise. UnitedHealth had previously said that it lost $475 million on the ACA exchanges last year and could lose another $500 million this year.

Are you in favour of companies being able to maximise profits like this?

Or would you like a better system that costs half the money?

How much input did politicians bought and paid by the corrupt corporations have?

Was the original ACA set up to keep State Borders, drug and care prices high, etc?

Or were those changes put in to get the bill through the houses?

If so either way, you need to think long and hard about who you vote for.

A practical solution is in operation in most of the modern world.

Paul Markham 01-11-2017 03:50 AM

Whatever replaces ACA will cost a similar amount of money.

Cross State Line competition only works if the Next State's hospitals charge a lower price. Hospitals, doctors, nurses, surgeons etc. Have to be willing to accept lower wages to make competition work. A better alternative would be to fly patients to India or Czech, or any country with a Private Hospital that offers lower rates. And of course, Insurance Companies have to be ready to charge less to earn more from more customers. Risking getting lots of people in poor health all paying less. Can you see that happening while they make so much already?

Drugs have to be brought in from overseas or have the prices fixed at a far lower rate. How much cheaper are the same drugs bought in Mexico, Canada, etc?

So long as the Healthcare industry is allowed to dictate to its customers. Customers will get overcharged.
