I have had no problems with coinbase :)

I linked to my scottrade banking account. Transfer off to multibit or electrum if you want to do spend them though. I have heard they will cancel your account at the drop of a hat if they see you transferring too much or to a casino.

Under what name can I find you on bitcointalk? I sure would like to ask you as stuff or two!

:Oh crap bitcoin take 10 hours now to complete

No one should be discouraged about buying BTC just because the price is $1800. This is still a ground floor opportunity. If anyone remembers, I was taking some knocks from some shrub when I was buying at $600. I started buying at less than $200 and have been buying ever since. Dollar cost averaging. Don't get your crypto advice from the nimrods of GFY.

There are a few webmasters here with serious crpto knowledge, but only a few. The rest are investing in Monopoly money.

Where?

On these sites like BTC-E, everything seems to be live isn't it?

Stuck with zero confirmations. I had some bitcoin in my multibit wallet. I am trying to transfer to my coinbase account from my wallet. I think there is an option where you can pay a higher fee and get the transaction confirmed faster. But right now, Can't sell the bitcoin back to coinbase until the transfer has been confirmed.

My bad. My wallet must have been corrupted. I didn't think I had any bitcoin in the wallet. But was stoked when I saw $50 in there. That is why I never got any confirmations.

this whole Bitcoin thing sounds like a whole bunch of horseshit

how about a simple program that you can deposit money into an anonymous account and use that... call it "Black Accounts" and it's basically a "Adult Bank"

like the Ashley Madison of online banks specifically for people that want to remain anonymous online.... that I get

I believe that could get shut down easier.

That sounds like Liberty Reserve and E-Gold. A bank was in the Middle East was hacked. A Russian hacker had ATMs spit out cash all over the world. The smurfs sent money back to the Russian via Liberty Reserve Dollars. Liberty Reserve Dollars was shut down after that.

Then there is the trust issue. Remember the guy from e-passport. Emptied all the accounts to make a movie for a shit story.

I believe with the spat of Ransomware, bitcoin may be on thin ice. Where virtual currencies may not be shut down. Anybody that transfers money to or from a virtual currency could get fucked.

Blockchain technology is absolutely genius, if you do not get it, then you should really try to learn more about it. If you learn more about it, you can probably find a way to profit on it as well :)
