any skill is only learned and honed through live repetition, correction, feedback and more repetition... that means being attacked again and again at full speed in a "fight like" manner and attempting to disarm them with coaching on mistakes, correcting yourself and doing it again and again.

In my practice when one guy threatened us with knife, one my friend do that

Runed and kick him in stomach - knife flying in one direction guy in other.
But guy who threatened us was not professional because take a stupor on few seconds and fuck up, professional will kill you 100% even you start run away. Becouse if to throw a knife it give more damage than hiting.

I had my own Crocodile Dundee moment years ago here in Sydney when I was still Chefing and some pimp cunt pulled a knife on me wanting money, what the fuck didn't realise was under my arm was a 25cm chef knife and steel wrapped in dirty chefs jacket. I just started sharpening the knife on the steel. Some useful info in this thread, thanks. What do you guys think about pepper spray? That'd be effective against a knife attack, right?

Does the pepper hurt enough so that the attacker drops the knife and rolls on the ground screaming in agony giving me time to do things to him, or would he just go blind and try to stab me anyway?

Also, how about a taser? That could work well, yes?

Pepper spray will stop girly men...it will only piss off the rest even more...taser is 1 shot....if you want revenge it is going to cost you...possibly your life...
