"red hats" generally do not hate people based on skin color. Leftists tend to look at skin color a lot though. It's all they seem to talk about nowadays. Turn on the Daily Show and there's a 9 out of 10 chance they are once again pointing out how different white and black people are. Divide and conquer.

If Trump would be black, purple, yellow or green, it doesn't matter. He would've still won. Smart people don't elect people based on skin color (that would be fucking retarded and racist) or gender (that would be fucking retarded and sexist).

Very simple - No white candidate will win against a credible black candidate in democratic primaries.

When a black candidate is running, black turnout in primaries increases. Black voters made up 25 percent of the Democratic primary electorate in 2016 without a black candidate.

More importantly, they make up a large part of several early southern state voters. Clinton lost whites to Bernie Sanders 48% - 50%, but won black voters by 77% to 22%. She also won the primary.

Any black credible candidate will win blacks by more than 77%, as Obama did. No white candidate will ever win against a credible black candidate again. If Oprah runs, her real competition will be Harris, Booker, or Patrick. I can imagine those candidates will step aside and wait for a VP nod.

To me, it means being a Governor or a senator first.

I would also love to see a basic intelligence test be taken that each candidate has to pass with flying colors. To me, someone who is going to run a country, should have a strong understanding of science, commerce, economics, energy, politics, culture, and history, and be able to speak at least 1 extra language.

The extra language thing is great but in the USA it would greatly limit the pool of candidates.

The rest of it would have eliminated Trudeau here in Canada. :1orglaugh

I think that running against Trump in 2020 might be a mistake. BUT...if she were to appear at the DNC convention in 2020 (like Obama did in 2004) and give a hell of a speech there...she could definitely win in 2024.
And in my opinion would make an excellent President.
