Trump could have answered the questions, or he could have deflected. He could have told the truth or lied, it doesn't matter at this moment. Going back to your statement through, no I don't think Obama would have tossed Acosta out at all. And no, if Obama or Trump would have done it, no one in that room would have cheered for it. They are the press core. And as you saw right after the exchange, another reporter vouched for Acosta. No one would have cheered. Quote:

"You fucking dumbass". I would love to have you walk up to me and say that in real life. Fucking keyboard warriors with no class. I would expect if I called someone that to their face I would get punched right in the mouth. And that is exactly what would happen to you as well. Show some class and don't act like these people on here who aren't in the industry. Act like a businessman having a debate. |

I wouldn't put it past anyone these days to do something like that in this political crazed climate. But as far as I know it was simply zoomed in. By the way...I don't think Acosta "assaulted" that girl at all. But by the standards the MEDIA and the Democrats created themselves over the past couple of years...he did. If Corey Lendowski stopped a female reporter from grabbing candidate Trump by the arm and THAT was "assault"...and the female reporter was featured on CNN and MSNBC over and over as they "comforted" her for being "traumatized"...then turnabout is fair play. If the so-called "left" wants to make a bunch of insane "rules"...then they have to be willing to play by them as well. I personally think Acosta has acted totally unprofessionally. He never asks any substantive questions and has NEVER provided the public with any valuable information (you know...the actual NEWS). Instead, EVERY TIME he is called on...he starts making speeches and insulting and attacking the administration. It would be like me "asking" you: "Hey Mark, since you are a total asshole and a piece of shit and everything you do is wrong...what do you say to the critics of your newest horrible policy?" That's not a question. That's grandstanding. And he's HOPING to get the President pissed. The happiest person on Earth after that press conference and subsequent loss of his WH credentials is...Jim Acosta. He has been wrangling for his own "show" for over 2 years now. This is the event that will probably put him over the top for it. Of course...first he will have to stay where he is while CNN tries to "win" the battle to get his credentials back. I think Trump should give it back to him. Acosta does more to boost the President in the eyes of his supporters than any other person. EDIT: Just to clarify...the theoretical question to Mark does NOT reflect the way I think of Mark. I've gotten to know him a bit and he is a great person and businessman. He is from Canada...but I have forgiven him for that. lol |

^^ He heard it from Brian Stelter on CNN!! LOL It was simply zoomed in. The fake media is trying to distract from Accosta's actions. They can't stand the fact that Sarah Sanders shared the video that InfoWars released. Mark got duped by fake news (again) :1orglaugh |

And he has been "outed" lying multiple times. There are YouTube videos dedicated to showing him saying something on air (lying) and then showing the proof that he lied. He and Chris Cillizia have the dubious distinction of being the worst of the worst at CNN. Larry King spoke about all this last night. You know...Larry King who was on CNN for decades and has been in the biz for 60 years. He said that CNN "stopped doing the news years ago, Fox is Trump TV, and MSNBC is all anti-Trump all of the time" He said he has never in his life seen the media act this way and it's disgraceful. |
Really interesting to see some comments here..the leftist media here of course writes stuff like Trump tries to oppress the critical press etc..

Trump's White House spread altered video and presented it as truth. Expert: Acosta video distributed by White House was doctored | AP News You're an idiot to accept this shit from your government. This is the kind of disinformation that China and North Korea shit out to their citizens. |

Jim Acosta is not a reporter, it's no big loss that he won't be covering the white house anymore. Kaitlan Collins is far better than him anyways. Just today CNN when shitting on Trump brought up that he called a reporter stupid. They then stopped and had to correct themselves. He called an African American reporter stupid... What does her race have to do with it? As much as people say the right dog whistles, how is that CNN comment right there not a dog whistle that the president is racist because he called a black reporter stupid. He calls everyone stupid regardless of race, but they pushed the black button all morning. |

He is not a reporter based on his recent body of work. He is as much a reporter as Sean Hannity or Tucker Carlson or Don Lemon. |

Even today Trump is talking about "rampant voter fraud in Florida" with zero proof of anything. At this point no one believes anything Trump says. They blow it off with "That's just Trump". The White House is so utterly fucking stupid that they just tried to pass off a doctored video knowing full well that everyone has complete access to the real video. The White House just posted doctored video - a direct lie - and you accept it blindly. |

Also this whole Jim Acosta assault thing should be put to bed. Trump said today that he thought Jim did nothing wrong and that it was overblown. I don't know the exact phrase but he said there wasn't anything there.

There was an attorney on TV yesterday that said the law is clear, the female was the aggressor and technically assaulted him. He was looking at the president talking to him, she approached him and tried to take something from him when he wasn't even looking at her.
She didn't even say anything to him. She just walked up and try to snatch something out of his hand which is very rude & aggressive. The attorney made a good point. |

@PressSec: President Trump believes in a free press and expects and welcomes tough questions of him and his Administration. We will, however, never tolerate a reporter placing his hands on a young woman just trying to do her job as a White House intern... And no, she was not the aggressor. It's her JOB to pass the mic to the next person but Accosta was trying to argue with the president like a hysterical dipshit, depriving other journalists their chance to ask a question. |

Because.... You know... Government employees.... At the state level... In Florida of all places.... Who are mostly volunteers...... Are highly fucking reliable. I know! We can have an investigation! You know, just like Trump's commission to commission to investigate voter fraud! You know, the commission that spend a year and found.... Nothing. No seriously, this has been my theme now for the past four years - since before Trump even ran for election. I mean, Republicans love investigations right? Let's have an investigation. (I'm actually not kidding here. If someone thinks there was some wrong doing here, let's have an investigation. Oddly enough, Rick Scott hasn't actually called for an investigation. It's in his right to do so, but he hasn't.) Perhaps we should place blame on the governor of Florida. LOL. |
