You're lying to yourself if you think Dems are against illegals. They would NEVER vote for anything that would punish illegals. They can't. Illegals are a large part of their voter base.

It's already a law, has been for over half a century. Your hero Reagan made it policy to not enforce that law and it's been that way ever since.

Like if they were all gone your life would be any different. The illegals cost much less than the big tax giveaway he gave companies, the ultra-rich and himself.

With the existing laws enforcement is the problem. So passing new ones won't make an iota of difference if they are not enforced. Under Trump enforcement is being ramped up. https://www.usnews.com/news/national...llegal-workers

Penalties. https://www.legalmatch.com/law-libra...mmigrants.html

The problem is getting enforcement in Sanctuary cities. Democrats rely on the Hispanic vote and even though American Hispanics are hit hard by illegal immigration, they seem to want more of it. https://blog.remitly.com/lifestyle-c...united-states/ How many vote Republican?

The problem is the real cost of illegal immigration is kept from the people, yet it's easy to list.

Unemployment for Native born Americans of all races.
Lower wages for Native born Americans of all races.
Crime, including enforcement, courts, prisons, etc.
Welfare, for workers out of work because they won't compete with an illegal. The taxpayer has to fork out.
Housing, the need to build more and more.
Educating the children.
Healthcare.

And please don't swallow the lie illegals pay taxes. If they have a job and deny an American. The only taxes they pay in are ones that would be paid anyway.

Here;s some real truth. https://cis.org/Huennekens/DOJ-26-Fe...ers-Are-Aliens 26% are illegal.

US prison costs annual 81 Billion, reduce that by 5% save $4 billion a year.
The U.S. collectively spends $100 billion a year. Reduce that by 5% and you get another $5 billion.
Unemployment 2.69 billion US dollars.
Welfare $668 billion dollars per year.
Healthcare $1.1 trillion

How much would you save by trimming those figures by 5%? This is achievable by eliminating some of the illegals in the US.

So what would it save if a properly built wall just stopped 10% of illegal immigrants? Remember people walking across are the worse of the bunch. Visa over stayers applied for and got a Visa. And there's no problem with regulated immigration, making sure people can support themselves and their family, have skills the country needs, have no criminal record, no suspicion of terrorism and healthy enough to meet standards.

We got almost 6 more years to get it done. Dems are just stopping him because they want open borders for the votes.

The process has been ongoing. This is a HUGE undertaking that will have to be in place for 100+ years. So it has to be done right.

Pentagon Awards Nearly $1 Billion in Two New Contracts for President Trump’s Border Wall

APRIL 10, 2019
The Pentagon announced two military contracts Tuesday worth $976 million to construct a wall along the U.S. border with Mexico, marking the first step toward President Donald Trump’s long-promised goal since he declared a national emergency nearly two months ago.

The Army Corps of Engineers awarded a $789 million contract to the Galveston, Texas-based company, SLSCO Ltd., for “border replacement wall construction” in Santa Teresa, N. M., near El Paso, Texas. Barnard Construction Co. Inc., of Bozeman, Mont., was awarded a contract worth $187 million for “design-bid-build construction project for primary pedestrian wall replacement” in Yuma, Ariz. Both projects, announced on the Defense Department website, are slated for completion in fall 2020.

oh so the process is ongoing? :1orglaugh:1orglaugh:1orglaugh

when do you think the first brick will be laid? a wall is the simplest structure to build, and trump is good at making the best deals, so why no brick in 2 years? not a single one....

answer: it aint happenin'

What is wrong with you?

Seriously.

I'd like to know what causes such low IQ.

The contracts to build prototypes were not awarded until late last year. And as the article I posted says, contracts to build the wall are now being awarded. IT IS OFFICIALLY HAPPENING!
