It's really super cool. And it's made extremely well. But please tell me one thing. Are your fingers long enough to have your forefinger at the trigger and be able to use your thumb to release it from a delay? Just curious (perhaps I'm the only person in the World who can't do that).

So personally I need to move my palm and I have to remove my forefinger from the trigger. This may cost me a life in case of contact.

The 1911a is made for a big hand. I love the weapon. Keep it clean and you'll never have a problem. In the Navy the ones we had were pretty loose, but they never failed. I fires a lot of rounds thru them.
Thinking about getting into cowboy shooting, could be fun

I'd say it's made for pianists. Everything is great in it. But just move the delay release trigger (don't know how you call it in English) closer to the hand. No other changes needed and it will be absolutely ok even in the 21th century.

Just noticed one more thing. I also can't control the trigger when I'm pressing the button to extract a magazine. So that's a very good pistol, but not for everyone if used not just for fun at a shooting range. IRL these delays may cost a life to people like me with short fingers.

Going to try CZ P-09 on the next week. It looks good at pictures, but I can't say anything while I haven't used it. Maybe you will like it. I duno.
