I actually do not enjoy shooting however these days... you going to get one? make sure and take training so you won't be afraid to use the the darn thing, and so you won't shot the wrong person. if you can find a dark room to bang off a few rounds so you are prepared for the bang, the flash and the blowback on your hands. it can be pretty frightening if you are not ready for it. :2 cents:

The mentality, I believe. They are mostly Muslims, Russians consider themselves Christians (actually I think that barely a single % of them have read the Holly Bible). Also all those wars (Caucasian territories have always been suppressed by Russian Czars, by Soviets and even now there is a military anti-terror operation). And the most important fact is that Caucasus is a mostly poor territory. The people from villages come to the Central Russia. So the real problem is not that they are Caucasians. The problem is that they come to big cities from poor territories. So it's like all those Arabic refugees in the EU. A totally different mentality. When a usual Russian or other European sees a naked woman, he looks at her and thinks "that is a... naked woman". When a guy from a distant village who lived in a different culture sees a woman without Hijab and even in a short skirt, he thinks "she's a whore! what we do to whores?"

Course that people of Caucasian nationalities who lived in Central Russia for his whole life is no different to others. I'm talking only about all those refugees from poor distant villages.

The 1911a is made for a big hand. I love the weapon. Keep it clean and you'll never have a problem. In the Navy the ones we had were pretty loose, but they never failed. I fires a lot of rounds thru them.

I'd say it's made for pianists. Everything is great in it. But just move the delay release trigger (don't know how you call it in English) closer to the hand. No other changes needed and it will be absolutely ok even in the 21th century.

Just noticed one more thing. I also can't control the trigger when I'm pressing the button to extract a magazine. So that's a very good pistol, but not for everyone if used not just for fun at a shooting range. IRL these delays may cost a life to people like me with short fingers.

Going to try CZ P-09 on the next week. It looks good at pictures, but I can't say anything while I haven't used it. Maybe you will like it. I duno.
