Enjoyed that France vs Germany game. France could have won by a couple more. Definitely looking strong !
Ronaldo coming up trumps for Portugal in the earlier match aswell... |

After watching France play I don't think anyone can stop them. Maybe Belgium if they get De Bruyne back and stay healthy. I am all in for Belgium.
|
Great game, Germany had chances, but when France break, damn it's scary.
|
Was thinking of betting a bit in next a couple of days.
What are your best picks? Thanks |

Scotland's world cup final.
It seems this is only the second England vs Scotland in a proper international tournament (excluding qualification), the other being Euro 96. Realistically England should easily beat Scotland, especially at home. I'll say 3-1. |
As usual Croatia is trying to win by disabling the opponent physically...

Not working as it stands however... |
That will do me. What a difference Kieran Tierney makes to Scotland. Beat Croatia and we should have a good chance of one of the 3rd place finishes

Well that was intense. Worth it, but intense. 2 main things to take from the game were, we are still in it and game 3 against Croatia now isn't meaningless.....which would have been soul destroying to watch. Not to say we will win on Tuesday, but at least we aren't already out. I think Scotland were the better team overall today. Other main thing of course is simply not being defeated by England so, it's all to play for really and some pride restored after the fuck up against Czech Republic. A good night all in.....would be fantastic to get a result on Tuesday now. We are still crying out for a quality striker though. Damn you Griffiths ! He would have been that goal threat we needed. But he fucked it and i agree with the decision not to include him in the squad. Not after a season like that. England i feel will fall short against the stronger teams again. France, Germany, Italy etc....i would expect all to beat England. |

It was a good game, I did say a draw, but I did think there would be some goals, good saves by both keepers though. |
What are your predictions for today's matches?
Hungary - France Portugal - Germany Spain - Poland |

Just hope they have the energy for Tues as they ran themselves into the ground. I agree with you about a finisher. Say what you want about Kenny Miller but you backed him when a chance came his way. Something we really lack. Play as good as that on Tues at Hampden and they give themselves a real chance. Croatia have not really impressed this tourney |

Fact is we haven't scored in the tournament so far. Nobody qualifiers without scoring goals. So. 1 game left to fix it... |

"Group 2 saw one of the great World Cup upsets on the first day with the 2–1 victory of Algeria over reigning European Champions West Germany. In the final match in the group, West Germany met Austria in a match later dubbed as the "Disgrace of Gijón". Algeria had already played their final group game the day before, and West Germany and Austria knew that a West German win by 1 or 2 goals would qualify them both, while a larger German victory would qualify Algeria over Austria, and a draw or an Austrian win would eliminate the Germans. After 10 minutes of all-out attack, West Germany scored through a goal by Horst Hrubesch. After the goal was scored, the two teams kicked the ball around aimlessly for the rest of the match. Chants of "Fuera, fuera" ("Out, out") were screamed by the Spanish crowd, while angry Algerian supporters waved banknotes at the players." https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Disgrace_of_Gij%C3%B3n "Schumacher's action has been described as "one of history's most shocking fouls"" |

Disgrace of Gijón - Wikipedia But for you a vaccine is already political even when a soccer player almost died on the field. Don't ask questions, reminds me of "don't mention the war." Than the EU leaders must have killed a lot of people if the virus was political. Look how the German press put pressure on a young healthy Dutch player in the German League to take an experimental vaccine. While the chance something bad happens is much less for a healthy young man than an old person with underlying disease that has been vaccinated. Disgusting. But sometimes making it political is okay!Lets make a political statement and light up the stadium, where Hungary plays in München, in the rainbow colours. That is cause the EU hates Orban and this as another moment to make themselves look better. Haven´t seen them making Rainbow Stadium for Turkey. Or displaying dead Navalny on screens when Russia plays. This is a well thought of political action. Orban can´t do much $$$ damage when they make a statement. So who is making soccer political.. But let´s go to Qatar and show the rainbow flags :) I am in favour of that. |
Damn, can't add admins to ignore
