The Germans made it a political game in the hope they will create an extra `third man` for the German team against Hungary. Cause not many people from other countries would cheer for the Germans. Else they are out without help from the "third man". I think the politicians hope the whole stadium/world will be against Hungary. And all cause the Germans hate Orban for years and see this as a great opportunity to protest, cause in Parliament they get the finger from Orban. I think they now hope for a response from Hungarian supporters waving to the Germans with their right arm high in the air, in the hope they can disqualify them.

Joke's on them though. By forbidding it, they've also triggered the Streysand effect. Rainbow flags are going up anywhere now.

The Poland vs Sweden game was something else. Lewandowski did not deserve to be on the losing side. He really is still one of the worlds very best strikers...

Well, maybe Netherlands could get to the final and win it beating Czech, Wales, ... and than maybe a final Austria - Holland.
But too many times see Holland lose games they thought where easy.

I hope the weakest will win in that pool with a miracle and also get into the finals. Hopefully with a lot of red cards, injuries, penalties, extra playtime in that pool so they get exhausted into the finals.

France, Germany, Spain all must lose. They aren't that great. They only win cause their population is 2,3,4,5 times bigger than the competition. So they have much more choice.

Spain win because Spaniards are fantastic at football, they dedicate to playing in all weathers especially the heat, know how to work as a team, passing the ball and showing proper foot work. Most Spanish kids play football on the streets and around the towns day and night....
