There was a big brawl at a comedy club near me about 4 years ago.
It all started with a comedian not knowing when to quit fucking with the audience.
It ruins the night for other paying customers.
And I've seen enough shows where the guy in the audience destroyed the comedian with
his own comebacks. It devolves into an insult match.
That is a waste of my money to watch.

I have to agree with you - there is no excuse and Rock showed everyone how to handle yourself in a situation like that in the future. Will's career will drop and likely the Academy will kick him out or ban him. With all that being said the situation is entirely different than what my comment suggested. If you go to a comedy club an sit in the front row expect to get burned - same as Academy's if you're up for an Oscar - you're going to be burned.

I do think people will start drifting away from will. The production companies will be hesitant to hire him and I think people will be hesitant work closely with him and I think insurance companies be hesitant to insure him.
