and if anything, thats stretch marks also, look at the difference the tanning made isnt it weird how his six-pack just kind of "appears" out of nowhere? |

example bodyweight = 185 lbs daily suggested protein intake = 185x1.5 = 277.5 divide that up between 6 meals = roughly 45 gm protein per meal so yes, an extra 40g of protein (with milk) will be perfect also, for a meal you can eat two cans of tuna with some relish + light ranch or mayo turkey burgers (if you must have bread, eat wheat, not white) Hormel Turkey chili (tastes great, but high in sodium) cottage cheese (eat before bed to feed your body while you sleep.. I can't stand the shit but if you can, it will do wonders I hear) chicken breasts (cook em up quick on a george foreman grill) you can get a weeks worth of this kind of stuff for like $40-50, it shouldnt be too hard to get to your total |

But check out his diet.... virtually no fat... none... nada... nothing!! That's the part I'd fall apart and crumble on within my first pepsi. |

i gained a lactose intolerance recently so i can't drink milk anymore which was a big part of my diet... i also can't drink any type of protein DRINK EITHER! even if it is lactose intolerance, for some reason it still hurts my stomach... so im 180 now (i was a bit over 190, but i lost weight cause of the lactose intolerance).. and so now, all i can eat is tuna / chicken / eggs... and i have to get all my protein from FOODS.. so im thinking somewhere up there like 4 cans of 32g's of protein of tuna a day... like fucking 2 70g tuna breasts a day... like 5 eggs... 4 pb&j, i might be able to do it... but i dont know.. someone said u should have over 2 cans of tuna a day. suggestions? |

Protein? Hmm... did you try soy? Lactaid? |
Quote:
and yeah i tried lactaid but it was hurting my stomach after awhile, at first i was fine with it, but then it started hurting after i drank it.. so i have no idea WHY... i tried the lactose free protein drinks, several diff types... and it didn't help.. someone told me it may be because i'm not getting enough fiber, which could have been true... but i'm too fuckin scared to try cause it is NOT fun goin through the aftermath. :( |

try this protein ball recipe i've been using lately. they taste great.
1 cup protein powder 1 cup peanut butter (creamy) 1 tsp. olive oil 1/4 cup of honey 1/4 cup high fiber bran cereal crunched up (i put it in a ziplock bag and use a cookie rollor to crunch it) 1/4 cup of chocolate chips (you can chop them up if you want) mix everything very well and when its done mixing roll them into balls. make sure you refrigerate them. |

how about just watching what you eat and working out 3-4 times a week?

This is a great workout :) |

Trust me, it's absolutely the most grueling quick workout you can do. You will throw up at least the first few times. |

I take it back. Not sure what that is.. but its ON his bicep there... Anyway after reading this guys page a little closer, I doubt he uses anything more than what he sais he does in the logs. |

Thanks! Btw, anyone here is counting their calories? I need 2400 daily... Thats pretty hard to reach... unless I go for some rich deserts or junk foods... ps. Anyone taking Glutamine here? |
that protein ball recipe sounds good man....how many of them balls you take daily, and do you take them right before workout? I started working out a month ago, abotut 3-4 times a week, I have never took any protein drinks and shit, just powerade ha....

the 20 rep squats work much better. around 15 your legs are burning. great way to start a work out because you're just exhausted after that. |

some cool stuff here. i definitely want to get lifting again. i've decided this summer i'm getting back into shape. well, it'll probably take more than this summer to get where i ultimately want to be, but i've pushed myself into getting a lot better.
i'm probably not eating perfect. i should be eating more, i usually eat about 3x/day, sometimes some snacks in between. but, i am eating MUCH healthier than i have been. although i am curious, how important is it to hit your target calorie/fat intake per day? i have no idea how many calories i'm eating, but fat wise i'm probably right now around 15g/day, roughly. and, is starchy stuff really that bad for you? i've been eating a lot of rice and pastas. for excercise, i got out jogging/walking at least once a day, for a little over a mile. sometimes i go 2x/day, but i've only been doing this for a couple weeks, so i don't want to overdo it yet. but, i have started to see some good results already. and i'm more driven now when i started. it's also an excellent mind-clearer and stress reliever. it's amazing what it can do for the mind. sometimes lately i've been going bezerk, then i go out for a run and i come back considerably more calm and clear-headed than when i left. i want to get back into the gym, but i think i'll wait until i get closer to my target wieght. i think it will be better to get my diet properly adjusted and lost the weight before putting it back on - wether it's muscle or not. |
