Man.. I guess that guy is legit. He's got pretty detailed logs with photos. I guess the logs probably helped keep him motivated & focused.

So, if you dont reach the amount neccessary, what can you do? Take another protein shake 40g ? (thats added to the one I take after my workout) Can you do that? and do you need that much protein even the days you dont workout? |

Either 100 rep squats routine or 100 rep deadlift. You do a light workout once a week of all the bodyparts and focus on a 100 rep descending weight continuous set once every 6 days. It's sick. It's incredibly effective. Your legs and back are the biggest muscle groups in your body. When you do these highly taxing exercises on those groups it stimulates the rest of your body. I have seen guys grab 15 pounds of pure muscle over a couple of 6 week cycles. Not many people can stick with it though. But as Escort Biz said in the beginning thread it's all about the rest and recuperation and the 100 rep squat routine gives you a lot of it. By the way, creatine is no magic bullet. Make sure your protein intake is perfect before you worry about creatine. |

and if anything, thats stretch marks also, look at the difference the tanning made isnt it weird how his six-pack just kind of "appears" out of nowhere? |

example bodyweight = 185 lbs daily suggested protein intake = 185x1.5 = 277.5 divide that up between 6 meals = roughly 45 gm protein per meal so yes, an extra 40g of protein (with milk) will be perfect also, for a meal you can eat two cans of tuna with some relish + light ranch or mayo turkey burgers (if you must have bread, eat wheat, not white) Hormel Turkey chili (tastes great, but high in sodium) cottage cheese (eat before bed to feed your body while you sleep.. I can't stand the shit but if you can, it will do wonders I hear) chicken breasts (cook em up quick on a george foreman grill) you can get a weeks worth of this kind of stuff for like $40-50, it shouldnt be too hard to get to your total |

But check out his diet.... virtually no fat... none... nada... nothing!! That's the part I'd fall apart and crumble on within my first pepsi. |

i gained a lactose intolerance recently so i can't drink milk anymore which was a big part of my diet... i also can't drink any type of protein DRINK EITHER! even if it is lactose intolerance, for some reason it still hurts my stomach... so im 180 now (i was a bit over 190, but i lost weight cause of the lactose intolerance).. and so now, all i can eat is tuna / chicken / eggs... and i have to get all my protein from FOODS.. so im thinking somewhere up there like 4 cans of 32g's of protein of tuna a day... like fucking 2 70g tuna breasts a day... like 5 eggs... 4 pb&j, i might be able to do it... but i dont know.. someone said u should have over 2 cans of tuna a day. suggestions? |

Protein? Hmm... did you try soy? Lactaid? |
Quote:
and yeah i tried lactaid but it was hurting my stomach after awhile, at first i was fine with it, but then it started hurting after i drank it.. so i have no idea WHY... i tried the lactose free protein drinks, several diff types... and it didn't help.. someone told me it may be because i'm not getting enough fiber, which could have been true... but i'm too fuckin scared to try cause it is NOT fun goin through the aftermath. :( |

try this protein ball recipe i've been using lately. they taste great.
1 cup protein powder 1 cup peanut butter (creamy) 1 tsp. olive oil 1/4 cup of honey 1/4 cup high fiber bran cereal crunched up (i put it in a ziplock bag and use a cookie rollor to crunch it) 1/4 cup of chocolate chips (you can chop them up if you want) mix everything very well and when its done mixing roll them into balls. make sure you refrigerate them. |
