Richards has been completely sober for 5 years and drug free for 20. He also has suffered from several serious health conditions the last 20 years of his life most likely also brought on by his many years of poor lifestyle choices. To say they are both going strong is false, they are both just hanging on to the end of life and their day to day existence is mostly miserable. You have a daughter to live for, at the rate you're going you only have about a 20% chance of seeing her turn 21. |

Life isn't supposed to be safe and easy, if I need alcohol and weed to lubricate my way through this currently difficult time, then that's what I gotta do! Now if you excuse me, I have to go lay back down and conserve energy while my uploads continue. :winkwink: |

I wish I didn't know this was real with you bro. It's sad. I wish you were a random internet troll. Knowing it's real hits kinda different, can't lie. You one of them dudes that will likely be posting selfies here from your final hospital bed, still waiting for something to upload so you could do something with it maybe later when you get back. I smoke weed and have partied hard, there's old GFY posts I can bump where I was posting from another planet in a different dimension. But all that comes after making sure my kids are good and making sure my bank accounts never hit $0. What the hell you uploading? 🤣 |

Who I am as a person, an outspoken creative artist type, means the path chosen in life is going to be much more difficult than your average oatmeal-plain type person who simply goes with the flow. I'm sure you haven't taken any real risks or created anything, or been outspoken about any issues. You probably still have social media accounts that are 10-15+ years old, because all of your positions in life are very safe. If you blaze your own trail through life, you're going to have a hard time. The world wants to mold you and conform you to what the appearance of 99% of people are doing in life, and if you swim upstream, there are so many forces at work trying to prevent you from gaining any traction. Alcohol and drugs have always been important tools of the shaman and artistic classes, because mainstream society will shun you for thinking differently. Unless... if you're a man wearing a dress, because then Big Tech and Big Pharma and government will stand behind you to promote your way of life, even to children. You should see the books that outsell mine 10000 to 1 that are aimed at 5-8 year olds about being "non-binary", that shit is 100% promoted by the establishment. Killswitch, I don't expect you to understand me, the greatest creative output you've probably come up with in your life is pouring the milk before the cereal for breakfast. |

Being POOR will kill you faster than alcohol and drugs... last night my neighbour gave me two pizza pops and a box of Kraft dinner to eat, nothing but processed shit and pure carbs. Beggars can't be choosers, so I ate it, and today I have been spraying the bowl with a brown Pollock... fuck I wish I had just not ate at all last night. Ultra processed food is pure poison. I feel physically so much better eating real veggies and real meat washed down with vodka than I do eating absolute crap fake "food" and drinking water. My guts are twisted up like a pretzel today and when I have to drive my buddy to the welfare office in his busted ass truck, I'm worried I'm going to shit the cab! Quote:

Having a few drinks to relax and take the edge off when cold approaching or on a date is a pretty normal thing. Alcohol only distorts your reality to any lasting effect if you overdo it (and perhaps not even then). Not to mention partying with a girl can be a good time (are you getting wasted every night? Then that's a DIFFERENT issue)
The level of extremes in this thread is wild. Alcohol is only bad All vaccines are perfect Smoking weed will send you to an early grave. I mean Huggles makes some good points about going out and socializing, it's really not a terrible thing, as long as you don't go full blown alcoholic (you can socialize in other arenas, yoga classes, coffee houses, join a class), but I don't agree at all on thinking vaccines are poison. I do agree it's your choice to take em or not, but it's possible one who doesn't could spread a virus more easily. Having said that, Tinder hasn't been successful much for me. I had a great date/match/sex during Covid, she was 36, no kids, hot as hell. But that was it. Not all dating apps rely on swipe mechanics BTW if the superficial looks issue gets in the way for you. I'm good looking enough and my pics are diverse but it's not good enough for Tinder. In person I get better initial reactions. Every guy has their method, for better or for worse. I perform in bands, I'm good at my instrument, and before Me-Too I regularly had girls approach me after a set. Socialized just fine, got results (and often lots of drama). However in the last few years, perhaps blame the pandemic for social dynamics changing, not so much. I do best when I look best - in shape, you can see it in my face. I feel more confident as a result. Confidence without being a dick is most of the battle when it comes to attracting women. Then look the best you can. My best results were from Craigslist. Really. Some very attractive girls coming over my house, immediate action. I won't say what I posted to lead to those results, but many were ONS, and some lasted a few months. They were the most chill girls I met. After CL personals went away because of a retarded US law, I moved onto a sugar dating site, and I was able to find the girls who weren't seeking a handout. Many would ask for money or complain but the ones I ended up dating did not. I don't think most men have that experience on sites like that, but I did. For now I've rekindled things with an ex gf from way back. |
...and I'm back in :1orglaugh:1orglaugh:1orglaugh

It's not an extreme and certainly not wild, science, especially in the last 5 years has proven that any alcohol, even one drink, is harmful to your heart, brain, liver and kidneys. The jury is still out on number 2, but I think most would agree "perfect" isn't likely. As far as number 3, I've seen studies on the longevity of regular weed smokers have a lifespan 2-3 years less than average, so early grave is probably a bit strong. However, the alarming part of the studies was that most of those studied had medium to severe cognitive impairment the last 8-12 years of their life. |
