But I can guarantee if I work a 9-5 job in Canada, I will never get out of poverty and never have the joy I get from working on art. I'm an outgoing dude for the most part, and pretty chatty as most of GFY can tell, and there's a chick who brings her truck to my mechanic for repairs, she works in the city planning department in Kelowna and makes over $35 an hour and she's almost as broke as I am, the only difference is she has a newer fancy rental apartment and a newer, big monthly payment vehicle, and an iPhone 14 or 15 pro, but basically has less than $300 a month after all of her bills for any spending money, and she's a drunk too! Obviously why we get along, haha. I told her she suffers from lifestyle creep, but she doesn't listen. Which would you choose, a wage you can feed your stomach on but your soul is empty, or projects that keep your soul full but leave the stomach grumbling? I mean, who even knows what "Canada" will look like in 1 year from now, I'm flying by the seat of my pants at the moment. ( Thanks Sarettah ) Still chopping more compilations ahead of time here so when I can afford the $35 Tube Site Submitter license, I'll be back uploading again. Will have a shit ton of movies in the queue so I can setup 30 days worth of uploads (150 uploads or so) in like 1 day and then forget about it for the next 30 days. The last week or so I've re-written like 20k words in the book for the Trump tariffs, it's a silly action-crime-comedy novel, but it totally fits into the whackiness of 2025 already. I guess us Canadians better buckle up, because shit is gonna get wild for the next 4 years! |

AI is an amazing (free) tool for this type of thing too. It really does seem like you are creating your own problems dude, think ‘smarter’ not harder… |
Quote:
I DID just think smarter, not harder, I saw my neighbour's car with a flat tire this morning, guy just got home a little while ago and knocked on my door because he knows I have a stockpile of old tires... sold a 17 inch winter tire for $60 and I picked up some whiskey for dinner!!! :pimp Back to chopping content for uploads... if porn can just keep me going while I write my books, shit will be golden in the future... whether the gold is in wealth or in piss down my legs is yet to be seen! |
Yes, literally since 2005 when someone said "lol promoting porn pics doesn't make money" and yet im still paying bills with it?????????
I wonder what idiot said that shit, probably burned out and has been bouncing between low level IT jobs for the past 20 years. |

How did you get started in adult? |

Currently, ( for now ) I am gainfully employed and have a few side hustles bringing in a few dollars. However if I didnt... I'd be working my ass off to get some USD in my hands. Given that you seem to have a following on GFY, somehow .. Do you actually not have any skills? I'd be shilling whatever I could do, at lower rates than my US competitors and making 'more' than them after exchange.. just as I did in 200X's What the fuck are you doing man? |

Oh, now you want a job as CFO or lead surgeon or something? What a fucking cuck. My cousin Lives in TO and went through nasty divorce in 2017. Was border line homeless with 2 kids. Managed to finish Robertson college and get degree in public accounting. Now she is living normal life with her son. Stop fucking crying. Go get a job if you can't do anything else besides submitting galleries. :2 cents: |

Like I said earlier, it is better to be poor but creating, than be the working poor and not creating. :thumbsup Sold a snow tire to my neighbour yesterday so I got money for food... doing firewood deliveries this week with a buddy for some rent money too. At least these gig jobs pay like $50 cash for like an hour worth of work and I can do them to cover the basics without having to commit to a 9-5 which steals all of your time and mental energies. Before COVID, I was doing caregiving for disabled seniors and working towards getting a bigger vehicle. A 20 passenger bus was like $10,000 in decent shape, and I was looking into making arrangements to drive more seniors around and take them places. My boss, a lady who was retiring from respite work, estimated I could've made like $5000 a weekend driving seniors around to their stops and taking them out to the park and such because lots of families are willing to pay for their seniors to get out of the care homes or house for the day. If you just had 10 passengers for 4 hours going to the park for an ice cream and to walk around in the sun, you can make like $15 per hour per senior, x4 hours, x10 seniors, and do that twice a day on the weekends. $1200 in 8 hours minus gas... Then usually at least a half dozen families want their senior to go spend a weekend at an AirBNB (that they pay for) so you can take their senior to some events or a movie or something to keep them entertained, and then you get the $150 overnight fee per senior as well, plus $15 an hour per senior as your very base rate, where a lot of people are paying like $50 an hour for premium respite work. Caring for the olds is big business and some people pay out the ass for Grandma to have the best care. There was a dentist lady who paid $500 a day for just her brother to get the best care, as both his knees were fucked and he walked at like 1 kilometer per hour, but he loved to walk around parks and bird watch. I made good money taking him for coffees at the Nanaimo waterfront and helping him operate his camera to get photos of seagulls. Of course, refusing the clot shot killed that path! |

PS: I'm not reading all that repetitive shit. Get yourself an 8 to 5, gypsy. :2 cents: |

At the moment I'm not currently in the headspace required to pursue the caregiving bus business, but someday I'd like to return to it. My mother, who, God rest her soul, departed this world upon her own accord when I was only 19, had had two University degrees, and she had studied geriatrics for much of her life. The #1 thing that kept old people alive was stimulation and not sitting around doing nothing. If old people are isolated and doing nothing but staring at a wall all day, they get ill and die so fast. That's what she always told me, anyways, while we were doing meals-on-wheels in Vancouver. So if I can ever get the money together, I'd like to open something like the "Rose Bryan centre for seniors" or something. Would probably need a fuck load of money and to hire people educated in geriatrics as I do not have a degree in that. Just getting a caregiving bus business setup would be a fuck ton of work but I have somewhere closer to 2 years of experience doing it and could probably connect back with my old boss that has 40+ years doing senior caregiving and ended up rich as fuck from it... as long as they never saw my GFY post history cursing out boomers, haha! First I need to get my 4th book done, sell most of my shit, and get down to New Orleans somehow. In the future I'd definitely like to come up with some sort of senior caregiving business plan involving a bus. |
Quote:
Keep in mind that 2005 was a very good time for people to share and actually want to do business, connect, etc. That's when I found out about GFY and went from there, figured out how to hustle and grind like a cockroach who depends on it and I realized I am NOT alone in that sentiment. |

Fucking insanely difficult day at $0 just hitting F5 on my inbox waiting to get paid. This is excruciating being stuck at $0 for so many days in a row, with the only relief being my neighbour buying shit from me the other day. Really, really suffering today. At least I have 5 chicken burger patties and some fries in the freezer. Still going to produce more this year than small dick chinese millionaires. :thumbsup |

Just sitting here with an empty stomach trying to sell my ball chair, and money could show up at any second, allowing me to progress in life. Can't do anything at $0 with barely any food. Just need to get paid or sell something and life starts moving again. https://i.ibb.co/Q3G1XSVs/understand.png |

Living Writer is a great tool to put your work into an organized format, and is setup to export everything properly for Amazon and other platforms. Just sooooooo handy and has such a nice flow to it, and you can turn on night mode, focus mode, it has a lot of great features. If you want to use AI to help you write, you paste your work into Chat GPT and ask it to find plot holes, mistakes, things you may have missed. Just like if you had a team of editors on hand like the big name authors do at traditional publishing houses. https://i.ibb.co/TMYpJjKL/livingwriter.png |
Some people free solo climb with no ropes, and for every Alex Honnold there are probably 100 people who fell to their deaths.
What I'm doing in life is the free solo'ing version of the financial world, staying just one step away from starvation and homelessness to do my art... people throw their lives away on drugs all the time, and people on GFY might see me as throwing my life away on the futile cause of trying to "make art", but it is what it is. The soul loves the struggle, the mind and the body sure don't. |
Quote:
Also when your immediate needs are met, although your mind/body is busy with your job you do have more time to think about plans that make sense for the future as opposed to constantly grinding your mind how to get the $30 for a drink, pay rent or $5 for cheeseburger buns. There is a huge difference. |

I'll reply to this but I just got back from the grocery store, now I'm making the handicapped fool that jump started my car so I could even get to the fuckin' store a bacon chicken burger with fries and gravy as a thanks. |

writers worth reading don't need an editor to tell them when their book is finished you're a drunk living in a shack making every excuse in the world why you can't actually do anything. the early stages of Korsakoff's syndrome (wet brain dementia) are no doubt a contributing factor lack of focus, disorganized thinking, confusion...ask AI what all that means given your alcoholism. the self-pity that comes along with being an addict and avoidance of the actual source of your problems are other issues until you put down the bottle nothing will change |

Kindle Create probably does most of what you need for your retarded book (for free), and why the fuck do you have a chair just for your balls?

I'm 26, I went to trade school for bricklaying straight out of high school
Done all kinds of factotum work from janitorial to demolition, my body hurts. I'm leaving that world, going to college in May. If you can lift 40 pounds, you can go to the labor pool and get a job sweeping. You can sell your stuff on depop and eBay. Root hog or die, our great grandparents used to say that. |
On that note, I really need to thank JF for putting me onto adult marketing. Don't let my rambling here fool you, that man taught me copywriting by example.
|
homeboy you need to move to an affordable country already and dip out of canada if you want to survive somewhat comfortably on what little bit of adult bread youve got coming in. the inflation is gonna knock you upside the head from every angle otherwise

When I was working doing the moving gigs, some of the dudes I worked with, they'd spend $30 a day on food, fast food for lunch $15+, then fast food or whatever else for dinner $15-$20+, meanwhile with a little planning ahead you could get those meals down to $1 each and still be super tasty. Instead, a bro is out there spending an extra $28 per working day per month on food... x20 days that's almost $600 a month extra on meals! So many people dine out for like 2 meals per day these days, I know someone personally who has Subway for lunch every day and then does skip or take-out 5 nights a week and cooks for herself on the weekends. I told her, lifestyle creep makes you broke... Subway 5x a week, $15 per day = $300ish a month Skip 5x a week, $25-30 per day = $500ish a month That alone is close to 4 days of a month she works just to feed herself and she makes nearly $40 an hour. That doesn't include her going to Cactus Club on Friday night with her fellow 30-something single girlfriends and spending at least $100 on food and parking, and blowing more gas having to take back routes home in case of road checks. :1orglaugh Buying in bulk and freezing premade shit you whip together, you can get your meals down to like nearly $1 each plate and still be fat eating some super tasty fucking food. I wonder if GFY would like to see how I shop and spend money on food and manage to have great eats for el cheapo... Yo Shimmy you seem to really have your shit together, what is your food bill like per month and what do you eat? |
