Mike, I will fish topless as well.

We need to hit some tarpon fishing before the summer is over.

Danny_C 07-09-2003 03:31 PM

I've been fishing once, and that was when Brad took me. :) Caught a big... something-fish. Who knows! I know it about wrestled my arm out of its socket.

I guess since I'm moving to a house on a lake in a week, I might have to take up fishing.

Just had some custom cabinets built on my dock for TV/DSS so I can fish and watch football!

Yes we are getting our new dock put in Saturday, same with the jetski lifts. Put the boat lift in last weekend to keep the 17' Tracker Targa bass boat out of the water :)

Will be very nice, its in a very small town in central michigan. Not many year round residents there at all.

Plan on hitting several OU home games this year. My lake house is 2 hours from the stadium. Nap you in OK?

I am so mad I didnt get a picture!! You know what really frustrates me?! When you go fishing at night & you lose all your good lures!!

OMG, that is FANTASTIC! I cannot believe you did not take any pics, we take pics from the boat to the slay.

For example: Last redfish

I am on a dry run last 4 weeks, its always weather, wrong tide, wrong wind etc., and its tough to make it out of the inlet.

http://www.leenoga.com/pix/cleaning2.jpg

ShawCutie, I guess if you and I fish we are men, ask CDSmith, sheesh.

LeeNoga 07-09-2003 07:01 PM

Have not caught no damn good fish since June 1st, but I only got out on Sundays. This one was 12 lbs, 32 inches, had to release it due to oversize and the State laws.

I was soooooo excited!! I caught it under another dock. Its the biggest fish I have ever caught, so I was a little upset to find we had not brought the camera. It did make it all better when Bradley had to make dinner ;) It gave me more time to do scrapbooking!! Ever try scrapbooking Lee?? Oh & Uh, Lee if I am a man, where is my penis, damnit??!!

LeeNoga 07-10-2003 06:49 AM

ShawCutie, actually fishing under a structure is the way to go, they reside under there to ambush the fish, and of course there is a good food supply there!

Way to go grrl! I love fishing, its everything to me, I even attended a class up at the coast last night, they give them free once a month. Learned some stuff actually.

Hope to get my boat back this week from the mechanic, winds are all wrong Sunday and its full moon which means the current is going to run fast and I cannot make it out the inlet because the breakwaters will be riptides. Damnit.

Brad must have been sea sick Mike and just wanted to forget about that deepsea adventure *grin*.

But I'd really want to try fishing there, I've never fished in the ocean.

you don't need any gear, if you go out on a boat.

I went fishing on the shores when i was in Seward ( i sent hubby out on the boat)...most amazing thing to watch the eskimos fish for salmon....they use this fucking huge hooks and they snag thier asses when swimming by...alls you see is people lined along the shoreline and scrambling up and down the jettys with their polarized glasses..snagging these great fish . They seen me fishing the wrong way and had to educate me...:1orglaugh

My son and brother went to Alaska and were just amazed by being able to fish with no bait! My son called me from there and said they were at a salmon farm fishing - there were so many there, that's what he thought it was - but it was just regular fishing. My favorite was a week later when FedEx delivered 30 pounds of fresh and smoked salmon. :thumbsup

Yes it is, the Gaftopsail cats we pull out of the channels are great table fare to many, I was not a fish eating type even when I picked up the sport.

Now I am, I love reds, snooks, mangrove snapper, flounder, pompano and sheepshead, with so many good eating fish, I release the cats. I cannot get passed the garbage they consume.

I dunno about other anglers but I love to autopsy the stomach contents to see what the fish eat :-)

LeeNoga 07-10-2003 08:14 AM

Talking about catfish how about that craze now called, "Noodling" or something like that where they pull out these hogs with their bare hands..

So many have lost their lives to poisonous snakes and gaters in the waters.

No way could I do that but I love to watch the other idiots on TV do it.

shawcutie 07-10-2003 08:42 AM

LOL
Lee, that sounds great! Where did you hear about that?!

twistyneck 07-10-2003 09:00 AM

Those pictures don't prove a thing. They show you standing next to fish, not fishing. For all we know, you just hang out at docks all day. He asked for proof, this doesn't even come close.

LeeNoga 07-10-2003 09:36 AM

Welp Brad, there appears to be some concern that perhaps ShawCutie caught those lunkers you take claim for :-)

clubsexy 07-10-2003 09:51 AM

They have a video out, now the first webmaster that can get them noodling in the nude is gonna have a great niche site!

I could not even think to do it, and these young kids are doing it now and so are women.

The video commercials on this sport is amazing. The water is so murky you could pull out most anything.

Who thinks of this stuff. Sheesh.

Woo, I used to go to the Skyway back when I had an RV, we fished the entire weekend up there and got nothing but cats and ladyfish, and of course sharks that we gave to others who asked for them, caught me a 4 footer there once.

Looking forward to the pics!

Back then was fishing off the North Pier and camping up there. Do not have the RV any more and now have a boat and since I am in Central Fla, I fish the Ponce Inlet area.

Do blacktips have an odor when you pull them out like those stupid shovelheads AKA bonnetheads...

Lots of folks love those blacktips, I don't have the guts to eat them.

[illnet]-Romeo 07-10-2003 11:35 AM

I always have my A game on!! Can't wait for tomorrow night!!

Lee not sure on the blacktip odor. Mad money ripped one up the other day though!! I'll let ya know Monday when I reel some up. Sharks really good to eat if you smoke it :thumbsup

BradShaw 07-10-2003 11:45 AM

Hope you guys atleast cut off the shark fins before you throw them back;-)

LeeNoga 07-10-2003 11:58 AM

Look at one of my spotted trout, he was 26 inches 6 lbs, with teeth like that who wants to freshwater fish!

Right now in Fla we are experiencing a thermodecline on the Atlantic side, the bottom of ocean is real cold and makes for poor fishing. All fishing charters have cancelled this week due to it. Got to go out 40 miles before you will find fish that will eat.
