This is not correct. Who said I would use your script if I were not using CJOverkill? Anywas I was not going to sue you. It would be stupid. I admire the fact you have changed your attitude. For now I finished removing the CJOverkill script from all my domains (even those that were not blacklisted with you) and no one of them uses Overkill anymore. There are probably some parts of cjoverkill left because I have no time to make a cleaning, but anyone can see that the links use different from cjoverkill syntax. I use the scripts that are completelly different from TTT and CJOverkill.

It's because of this and the fact that he didn't protect his source code that he'd be in a world of hurt if he did try to take anyone to court over this. He has no legal leg to stand on, which is why he's only able to blacklist sites using CJOverkill. Notice that he used to threaten ...now it's just a blacklisting. That's all he can do. Without a legal judgement, you'd be hard pressed to find a hosting company that would shut down a paying customer based on an accusation without any sort of judgement.

It's time that people just let this go. In the months that it's been debated and fought over, nothing has been resolved. Choker's still pissed. Icefire is still distributing CJOverkill. Nothing is gonna change. Time to move on.

Now it would appear, Chocker did not take the necessary steps to register his software, availing Turbo Traffic Trader of protections under the law.

As a non-programmer and a role of end-user, it is clear to me that the ongoing dispute between chocker and icefire is unresolved for more than his competitors geographic location excuse.

In essence, the guy (choker) is driving his car, then gets in a accident. It turns out, although it appears the car is his, he left the vehicle registration at home, but insists the car is his.
Additionally, it appears he has been driving without insurance.

Again, I will remind folks, this is not a popularity contest, nor am I trying to grow my Christmas card list.

CJO was a blatant rip of TTT, I looked at both in detail when CJO first appeared. The fact that a few simple code changes were made is irrelevant.

The shitty history of CJO is not a secret, its available for all to see at the CJO board right next to where you download the script.

Personally I would not put a processor through the pains of interpreting the latest CJO, its top heavy and poorly coded. When I see comments like ?duh are you trying to hack me? in a script its clear amateurs are at work.

Get UCJ and have less sleepless nights.
