2K a month mostly through TGP galleries. But I fear my main sponsor might be shutting down http://bbs.gofuckyourself.com/board/frown.gif - I'm aiming for 4K a month by whenever to be able to confirm this as my permanent job. I'm just starting to get the hang of it, using different sponsors now to distribute my eggs, but not much success with other sponsors. Planning to get 5-6 more domains to build more sites, and planning to get into avs.

I hate to see you fine folks fighting, and over what, a couple of bucks, a difference of opinion over free hosting. Free hosting works well, one can make a nice little bit of money on it, it is especially good for those starting out. But paid hosting is worth it once you have the method down. I am however thinking about going back to some free hosting.

That's funny because when my Fiancee and I quit our day jobs to do this full time we lived for 2 months on almost nothing but Ramen and rice. Things are much better now. Yes, I just started pushing my avs site with my gallerys and all my other sites.
Just nothing happening right now, but should soon.
And to all the ones trashing freehosts.
They work great for me.
I use LightningFree and theyy are really great,very fast,dependable,and reliable.
Plus I don't have much overhead,just some content to purchase now and then.

You guys get good TGP conversion with the free hosts? With all those banners they use?
If so, I think Ill have to try that with some of my galleries. My bandwidth bill was outrageous last month...almost $700
That's way too much to be paying. I was checking into financing/buying a Benz C240...
$400 per month to lease, $800 to buy.
My bandwidth bill is almost as much as that new Mercades I want!

I dont make very much but I believe I have made my bandwidth provider a very rich man. Maybe he will leave my a small token of gratitude in his will, and then maybe not.

please...how do you get all that traffic to your site in the first place? You don't have a webmaster referral program so you obviously must get the traffic from somewhere.

dont you just love unexpected sign-ups? i took my AP banners down 6 days ago while i was re-do-ing my site, and still got a sign-up somehow.

I'm getting all my traffic from yahoo at this point. I got 3 signups in one hour, but 4 for the day lol. Oh well.

Aceor, some SE's like google actually cache your site and ppl can see it as it was sometimes up to several weeks. We found that out last year when someone emailed asking about something we had taken down the month before. Lots of FREE SITES get 100 signups a day for their sponsor. When you're up near that, then come back here and try to tell someone how great you're doing.

I also don't think that 4 sign ups per day is that bad. I mean all I did was submit it to yahoo. I haven't done any promotion on it, but that's becuase it's still under construction.
