It's like so many things.. It's like fishing. You can throw a lure for 10 hours and get nothing but bad results. Thats when you throw *anything* else because you sure know what doesnt work, lol.

There was a time when anything related to pot was an automatic knock-out blow. But now people dont much care. In fact, you'll probably get more votes if you got stoned once when you were a kid. Shows you're real.

Porn is like that too. So many more people go and rent movies, or buy online memberships than even a few years ago.. It's not exactly taboo. If anything, it's certainly moving more towards being "normal" than "abnormal". So I would not presume that everyone will carry on with the current ultra-strict morality that comes off this bunch..
Dressing the statue was the most unreal, amazing thing I've ever seen... I keep asking, whats next? All women must wear skirts down to the ankles? I mean honestly.. It's just backwards, not "conservative" it's "preservative" Preserving a time long long gone from reality.. it's so contrary to the way our society is moving.. it really shouldnt be allowed to continue..

I will give you this..

You might be able to slow down the process and I am using the word "might" because after all this is a unknown factor.

But ultimately no good will come from the goverment regarding online porn.

Porn in general has and will continue to become more acceptable.

The bad reputation of online porn is different because of the things associated with it.

Stop trying to brainwash people in here, if you hate Bush, you hate Bush, just say it. Don't go around spitting lies just to scare people to vote democratic... Below is proof that Bush's own evil Supreme Court rejects any type of laws that would hurt us..

Apparently you are unfamiliar with the Meese Commission. Under Reagan, obscenity was prosecuted regularly, two of the people that I do alot of business with were prosecuted and one did 18 months in jail.

The Clinton administration chose not to prosecute obscenity.

No, you're not a sheep, you're a dumbfuck with your head up your ass and the reading comprehension of a third grader, as evidenced by your inability to string together two sentences that are neither deragatory towards someone else or contributory to this discussion.

As far as whores go, that's something your wallet probably has plenty of experience with, since given your simple minded comments I can't imagine there's a woman out there with a GED, much less a diploma, that would find you even mildly interesting, and that would only be if your dick was at least 9" long.

Frankly, conservative judges on the Court aren't a bad thing. A conservative court has the tendency to support the law as its written, not try to interpret it into a new spin on the law.

Until someone gets popped and there's a case before some court, it's very much a wait and see game, especially when you take into account that these new regs will be signed into law in some sort of form prior to the election and the compliance date should fall ten days or so before the election. Leaving enough time for there to be a public "lynching" in the media of someone or other.

COPA happened during the Clinton Administration.

The Meese Commission didn't that provide that 1988 Obscenity Enforcement Act? That was the first version of 2257

The courts ruled that unconstitutional. I will have to read more about it.

The internet changed all that to my understaing. The laws were not equipped to combat internet based porn.

And isn't it funny how the Republican appointed judges rejected the Child Protection Act?

From reading all the anti-Bush and anti-Bush-appointed-judges rhetoric in here, you would think the opposite.

Facts are facts, many in here would have you believe everyone of us will be in trouble if Bush is rel-elected...

In fact, none of you in here can claim 1 injustice done to your business from the Bush administrations policies since 2000. None of you, I asked before, and everyone ignored it, and no one will give me 1 single instance on how the Bush administration has affected you negatively...

I tell you again if you hate Bush, say you hate him, don't start a thread scaring fellow adult webmasters into voting for a guy that YOU want for YOUR reasons... Don't make up bs about how we're all screwed in porn if Bush is in power....I'm doing quite fine with him in power, and growing, I must be doing something right :1orglaugh

The courts ruled that unconstitutional

I posted it earlier when I edited my post but you missed it when quoted me.

Clinton didnt have anything to do with not prosecuting it.. to my best understanding. Like I said I will have to read more about it.

They did not want any part in regulating this law, because they knew it was bullshit, so they purposely sent it down to the Circuit Court because DUH, they knew nothing will happen if they do that.... Preach to the quire about your Anti-Bush feelings, dont make up conspiracy theories (im sure you probably think Bush sent planes into the Pentagon, too) on how we in the adult industry will be magically screwed one day after Bush is in his second term, it's simply not true and nobody believes it......

The fact is that was the second time COPA went before the Supreme Court and the third time it was found unconstitutional by a lower court and Asshat was the man who brought it up this last time. The fact is it's Asshat's office that has control over the regulation of 2257 and he can do whatever the fuck he pleases UNTIL someone takes him to court. It was Asshat that decided to fuckify an age verification regulation that was working just fine.

Oh my, as long as it took you to come up with something at least halfway towards intelligent leads me to believe your wife must have written it for you.

And by the way fuckwit, just because you go and vote doesn't mean the law is going to be changed. In case you're unfamiliar with how an executive order works, you might want to do a Google search.

If you think that Kerry or any other politician is going to go back and undo a law that was signed into being to make it a little harder to peddle porn, you're either hitting the crack pipe too hard, or your head is bumping up against your crack while you're trying to put it back where it belongs now that you've made such a lame attempt at insulting me.
