I don't see why people don't wanna vote on this one.. I mean, sure, you're not gonna tell everyone exactly what you've earned, but most of the people on here don't need to be ashamed for what they earn, coz it's quite a lot anyways..

Yea but fuck public polls ... people don't need to know

groark 12-24-2004 01:35 PM

Not much :Oh crap

sickkittens 12-24-2004 01:36 PM

You should has asked "how much did you net?". :2 cents:

sickkittens 12-24-2004 01:37 PM

Hah, the polls are no longer anonymous?

Roald 12-24-2004 01:38 PM

hehe punkworld, you shouldn't have revealed that it was public that fast

I bet a lot of people voted a bit higher now they know ;)

I meant profit, not revenue.

Some of the votes are making this thread pretty interesting... my apologies, though, to people who didn't realize it was a public poll. (next time, though, beware of the Be advised that this is a public poll: other users can see the choice(s) you selected.)

Well, right above the poll it says "Be advised that this is a public poll: other users can see the choice(s) you selected.", so I wasn't giving away some big secret... I figured that the people who'd read my post before voting, would probably also notice that line :glugglug

Yeah I know, but still...

demented 12-24-2004 01:50 PM

I make enough to pay my bills, and live comfortable. That's all that really matters to me.

Yeah, you're right ofcourse... this is GFY, people here are hardly able to read, so the majority probably missed the obvious :winkwink:

I feel like an idiot, although I think I undervalued.

Seems like 10% of voters net $5m? Ya right.

Lol @ CAHEK's <$1k.

false rumor, I am sure

AVM 12-24-2004 02:15 PM

I feel bad for the members who voted honestly, thinking this poll was/is private.

Lol @ CAHEK's <$1k.

One always has to remove the top and bottom 5-10% from poll results, because many people don't answer seriously.

Diligent 12-24-2004 02:26 PM

Burger-money :food-smil

coolfuck 12-24-2004 02:37 PM

good to know that there is people that make more then 5mil a year

polish_aristocrat 12-24-2004 02:41 PM

less than 300k, more than 25k

Tipsy 12-24-2004 02:42 PM

Be interesting to know (an anon poll would be fine ;) ) how many people voting also have non-adult online businesses and how much they make combined. I know for us non-adult stuff is now doing very well and there's more than a few here that do mainstream too.

Also be interesting to know who's made less this year and who more in adult than previous years. Myself - the ROI is now much better for us in non-adult so it gets most of the time.

Finally...as others mentioned it'd also be nice to know the PROFIT rather than net. The two can be worlds apart for some people :)

But then it's all the sort of info people hate to give out. 90%+ of the votes I'm sure are from people not realising that we now have public polls too so fairly accurate.

bizmak 12-24-2004 03:33 PM

first year, so 1-5k for me :anon

I'm honest too.. about 200K range this year for us, Serious Partners. It's not the best year, but it's good!

Just wanted to take a moment and wish everyone and their families a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

azguy 12-24-2004 04:09 PM
