"Not that well covered is a very similar series of riots, also running for four days, in Århus, Denmark. Nothing of it has penetrated to the english-language sections of Danish media, so the following is my translation of a piece in daily Jyllands-Posten:
Rosenhøj Mall has several nights in a row been the scene of the worst riots in Århus for years. "This area belongs to us", the youths proclaim. Sunday evening saw a new arson attack.
Their words sound like a clear declaration of war on the Danish society. Police must stay out. The area belongs to immigrants.

Typical lack of background info....
I live not far from it, and what we are talking about is mostly kids that parents and school can't handle, 14-18 year old. 30-40 of them, and thats it.
I passed them, I talked to them myself, and they are just fucking around. Its typical kid "gang" stuff, and have nothing to do with the rest of the immigrants (or religion).
Århus has always been relative peaceful, so "the worst riots in years" means nothing compared to other places, like you see in France now.
Media makes it a storm in a waterglass. Its more dangerous to go to a soccer game here between two rivals....
