I had to plug in some old backup drives to do some checking on this. Baddog's been on my icq since around mid 2002. Never received any icq spams from him.

I did get some mailings from ContentLotto back in the day from Mogul, but that was clearly an opt-in since I signed up there.

I was trying to recall, but did not think I even had access to the email system on ContentLotto. So any emails would have come from Mogul unless they were something personal from me.

Doesn't anyone remember the threads from Battuss (come on, he whines non-stop, you had to see it...) about baddog "spamming" Content Shopper? The beef was... someone would ask for content spam, baddog would post a link to his directory or search results or whatever the hell it was and it usually didn't have any useful links.

What ever happended to Mogul. I think I remember posting a few years ago or so selling contentlotto and all that... I know ppl in the old netpond days did bitch about the emails from what I recall.

As stated earlier, the ContentLotto list was opt-in and anyone that wanted off was taken off and their account closed. Funny thing is that people thought they should be able to play the games and win the prizes but not get the announcements that went out.

maybe it wasn't useful to Franck, but there is a link for just about any kind of content you can think of. Just because the provider doesn't have exactly what you are lookimng for, if they had the niche in question, their link would come up.
